ZIONIST MU-BARAK REGIME BIASED MEDIATOR

GAZA, Jun 26, 2010 (NOVANEWS) — Egypt failed to reconcile Palestinian factions because it could not stay in the middle of the road between the rivals, Hamas movement, which controls Gaza.
“Cairo is a biased mediator in the internal Palestinian differences,” said Sami Abu Zuhri, a Hamas spokesman.
He added that Mu-Barak focused on supporting puppet Mahmoud Ab-Ass’ Fatah party at the expense of Hamas “and this explains its failure in achieving Palestinian reconciliation so far.” Ties between Hamas, which routed pro-Ab-Ass forces and took over Gaza in 2007, and Egypt have deteriorated since Hamas refused to sign an Egyptian-drafted proposal to end the differences between Hamas and Fatah last October.

Last week, Mahmoud Zahar, a Gaza-based member of Hamas politburo, hinted at Western and international intervention in the Palestinian issue through Zionist Mu-Barak which is supposedly to sponsor the Palestinian dialogue.
Zahar’s remarks sparked a fierce Mu-Barak regime response. Hossam Zaki, spokesman for the regime Foreign Ministry, accused on Saturday Hamas of trying to get around the Egyptian proposal to amend it in a way reflecting Hamas’ demands.
Describing Zaki’s remarks as “irresponsible,” Abu Zuhri said that his movement “doesn’t want to escalate” with Egypt.
