Illegally occupied RAMALLAH, West Bank: The Palestinian Bar Association announced on Wednesday the suspension of work in all courts and public prosecutors on Thursday from 11 am until the end of working hours in solidarity with the severed prisoners.
The union said in a press statement issued by: “In light of the continued intransigence in not dealing with the demands of the freed prisoners to re-pay their salaries cut in violation of the law, and in the face of deteriorating and serious health, which can threaten their lives and physical integrity.”
She added: “We at the Palestinian Bar Association declare our full solidarity with the demands of the prisoners on hunger strike, especially our colleague, the liberated lawyer Abdul Raziq Khasib Al-Arouri as demands of the law.” Political as the prisoners represent the state of national consensus in all stages of the Palestinian liberation struggle. “
She continued: “We decided to suspend work in all courts and prosecutors and in front of all institutions on Thursday from 11:00 until the end of the working hours,” bearing the authorities in charge of the safety of the protesters and end their suffering and fulfill their demands.
