Resistance takes engagement equations to a new level
The director of the Orouba Center for Research and Strategic Thinking, Ahmed Al-Tanani, confirmed that the battle of “Al-Aqsa Flood” will constitute an event establishing a strategic course that changes the nature of the equation of conflict with the occupation, as the resistance moves the equations of engagement to a new level in which rules of engagement are imposed that are different from what came before, and it continues on what the battle achieved. The “Sword of Jerusalem ” is the ability of the resistance to direct its strikes competently, gather the entire Palestinian people behind the equation of engagement, restore liberation, and protect the Palestinian national project as a determinant of engagement and confrontation.
Al-Tanani said, in his interview with Al-Hadaf News Portal, “The success of the resistance in surprising the occupation with qualitative strikes, the most important of which was the penetration by hundreds of fighters of the fence separating the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, put the occupation in an operational dilemma, as its first priority became redressing the extent of the damage that had occurred.” As a result of the resistance’s major attack, and engaging in the process of regaining control over the areas that were attacked, especially with the concentration of a large number of fighters in a large part of the geographical areas around the Gaza Strip, and its success in striking key command sectors, especially in the Gaza Division.”
Al-Tanani added: “The current escalation puts the government coalition in the occupation entity in a predicament that doubles the internal crisis and the entity’s settlers’ dissatisfaction with it for several reasons, including the inability of this government to achieve security for the settlers, and to confront the escalation in resistance action and heroic operations, and now it is faced with the reality of the inability to Confronting this specific resistance attack.”
The director of the Orouba Center for Research and Strategic Thinking stated, “The resistance took it upon itself to anticipate a Zionist treacherous operation that was being prepared to launch an aggression against the Gaza Strip and target the leadership of the resistance, in addition to responding to the escalating attacks on the Palestinian people and their sanctities. Thus, the resistance, with its surprise strike, deprived the occupation of an essential component.” “From the success of his military operations, which was the first successful strike, he has now become the recipient of this strike instead of being the one who usually directs it.”
Al-Tanani explained, “The pictures that came from the field, and the great damage that the resistance caused to the capabilities of the occupation army, in addition to the large number of soldiers and settlers that the resistance was able to kidnap, will have a major impact on the image of the occupation army, and will dissipate what remains of the ‘deterrence’ that it destroyed.” resistance over the years,” pointing out that “the occupation’s calculations are complex in its escalation of the aggression against the Gaza Strip, as the occupation knows full well that the resistance has prepared itself well for the battle, and has not put all its cards on the table yet, in addition to prolonging the life of the battle and increasing the scale of the aggression, they will withdraw.” The battle is limited to the Gaza Strip, opening the doors to the possibility of other fronts participating in the battle, which puts the occupation in a dilemma and narrows its range of options.
Regarding popular interaction, Al-Tanani pointed out that “the extent of engagement in the equations of engagement for the Palestinian masses in the West Bank and the occupied interior will be a major determinant of shortening the life of the battle, and aborting the occupation’s attempt to fragment the fronts, monopolize the Gaza Strip, and raise the pace of crime and bloodshed in response to the painful strikes directed by the resistance.” Therefore, the most prominent scene that will crown this heroic act with complete victory is in turning this battle into the battle of all free people in the world, and in the forefront of them are all Palestinians and Arabs.”
