Comrade Osama Al-Abd Al-Rahim, Secretary-General of the Kuwaiti Progressive Movement, “For the Goal”: The Zionist enemy is unable to find a popular Palestinian and Arab incubator that would provide it with a path to liquidating the issue.

The fragmentation and subjugation of the nation.

Comrade Osama Al-Abd Al-Rahim

Interviewed by: Dr. Wissam Al-Faqawi published the interview in issue 54 of Al-Hadaf electronic magazine

The first axis: The Oslo Agreement, the path of the settlement and normalization approach, and the escalation of resistance

* Thirty years after the signing of the Oslo Accords and the political, economic and security agreements that resulted from it, in your opinion, where have we reached today, Palestinian and Arab?

** I remember what the late national and international activist George Habash said in an interview about the Palestinian struggle experience: The Oslo tragedy is not due to a specific event, but rather it can be said: It is the result of accumulated Arab and Palestinian defeats… Defeats do not mean only military defeat before the occupation, but Also (and what is most important) are its intrinsic, i.e. internal, elements. Meaning our inability to accumulate victory and secure its political, economic, scientific and cultural prerequisites, and our inability to unleash the effectiveness of Arab society in all countries, keeping it at the mercy of alienation and oppression by police regimes. How can it be imagined that a people will succeed in defeating an advanced enemy that possesses the means of power, such as the Zionist enemy, as long as that people does not know the meaning of their internal freedom, and absenteeism, ignorance, and self-absorption prevail in them?

Here lies the reference to the defeat of Oslo and other Arab-Palestinian defeats.

Today, thirty years after the signing of Oslo, it can be said that we are at a stage in which the Zionist occupation was able to transform most of the Arab regimes into functional regimes through political, economic, and security agreements. Thus, dependency deepened, oppression, exploitation, and poverty increased, and discord intensified in light of the fragmentation that continued to divide it, etc. Attempts at division are continuing more and more, and the plundering, destruction, displacement, civil wars, and escalation of racism and sectarianism that the region has been exposed to over the course of thirty years… But until this moment, the Zionist enemy stands unable to find a popular Palestinian and Arab incubator that would secure for it the path to liquidating the issue, fragmenting the nation, and subjugating it.

* Before the signing of the Oslo Accords, the enemy was not recognized by more than 60 countries, while from 1993 until now; It has been recognized by more than 155 countries. Do you believe that the Zionist enemy has achieved its claimed legitimacy, as well as its goals of announcing a “peace” agreement with the official Palestinian leadership, in the name of the Palestinian people?

** Regardless of the recognition that took place in the Zionist entity, its nature as a racist, expansionist, aggressive entity, and as a colonial base that represents the interests of imperialism in the region does not make it a state like any other normal state… Without a doubt, the so-called peace agreement with the leadership The Palestinian Authority in 1993 was important to the international community to justify recognition of the Zionist entity, but it was not the only factor… In the context of explanation and not justification, there are two simultaneous objective factors that were behind this alleged international legitimacy;

The first factor: The decline in support for Palestinian legitimacy at the international level after a series of events that led to the PLO moving between several Arab countries after the setback in 1967, and the organization’s move from Egypt to Jordan. And the events of Black September; The movement of the resistance forces and the organization to Lebanon in 1971, which was followed by the events of the Lebanese civil war, then the move to Tunisia in 1982, in addition to the repercussions of the invasion of Kuwait in 1990/1991, and this is what led, in one way or another, to the isolation of the PLO from its Arab environment, which weakened legitimacy. The Palestinian Authority before the international community.

As for the other factor: it was represented by the expansion of the circle of relations of the Zionist entity at the international level after the signing of the Sadatian surrender treaty between Egypt and the Zionist occupation in 1978-1979 following the Camp David Accords, and the repercussions of the collapse of the states of the socialist system in Central and Eastern Europe and the dismantling of the Soviet Union at the end of the eighties and the beginning of the nineties and the end of Multipolarity in the world; Which led to the Western imperialist camp, represented by the United States, becoming a major power dominating global decisions, and as a major supporter of the Zionist entity.

Whatever the case may be, this is a usurping, colonialist, settler, racist, aggressive and expansionist entity and not a state like the rest of the countries, and no matter how much recognition it receives, it cannot gain it legitimacy.

* From the achieved results of the American-Zionist settlement approach, starting with the Camp David Accords, then the Oslo Accords, and ending with the Abraham Accords… Do you not see that we have reached a point that requires a collective national confrontation, in addition to the national confrontation ? In your opinion, what is the role required of the forces that still consider themselves an integral part of the Arab liberation movement, such as the Kuwaiti Progressive Movement and others on the Arab level?

** As we mentioned previously, the nature of the Zionist entity is racist, colonialist, settler, aggressive, and expansionist, and this entity will not abandon its goals simply by signing these agreements, through which it rearranges its cards and empowers it, as this entity is still expanding by killing Palestinians, displacing them, and occupying their lands; It is still occupying the Syrian Arab Golan and has been attacking Syria for years with aerial bombardment. It is encroaching on Lebanon’s airspace by penetrating its skies to target Syria, and it is still penetrating into the Shebaa Farms in southern Lebanon. This requires that we, the forces of Arab national liberation, regardless of our standpoints, carry out our responsibilities represented by a collective national confrontation of imperialist hegemony and the Zionist project, regardless of its location and by all means, and not being satisfied with reactions to Zionist attacks or opposing normalization only. Rather, what is required is the adoption of a comprehensive national liberation project to break free from dependency. For imperialism, and to accomplish the tasks of national, democratic and social liberation, so that the Palestinian issue is a central issue in this liberation project, and that it necessarily includes the complete liberation of a unified Palestine with Jerusalem as its capital , and work to achieve this on the ground.

* You, in the Kuwaiti progressive movement, relied on a clear position in rejecting the approach of settlement and normalization, based on your radical position on the Zionist presence in the heart of the Arab world, and you consider Palestine a national and national issue at the same time, and the State of Kuwait represented an advanced position on this level, and it was clear in its statements and positions. Parliamentary and official, is sister Kuwait firm on the same position, especially since there has been a lot of talk about the approaching signing of an Israeli-Saudi agreement recently and the entry of other countries into these treasonous agreements looms on the horizon?

** We in the Kuwaiti Progressive Movement adopt the national, libertarian, social democratic approach that opposes imperialism, Zionism, and reactionism, from the standpoint of representing the interests of the working class and the popular and marginalized groups in Kuwait, as an integral part of the liberation forces in our Arab nation, which is engaged in an ongoing struggle with the presence of the Zionist occupation, the colonial arm of global imperialism in Our region, and therefore we believe that Palestine is a national issue present in all our issues, and in this context comes our position against normalization with the Zionist entity, and this is what we express in our program documents and statements and during our participation in various solidarity activities locally and externally with the Palestinian resistance and steadfastness, as happened on For example, in the World Festival of Youth and Students, which was organized by the International Federation of Democratic Youth in 2017 in the Russian city of Sochi, when we participated with a delegation of young women and progressive Kuwaiti youth, and we contributed to expelling the delegation of the Zionist entity and raising the Palestinian flag among the flags facing the conference building, and the solidarity of our Kuwaiti people with The Palestinian people abstained from the sit-ins in “Al-Irada Square” in Kuwait in the face of any Zionist aggression or provocation, and all of these popular positions, regardless of their political, intellectual, and ideological standpoints, in turn constitute permanent pressure that is reflected on the government and parliament in Kuwait not to be drawn into normalization, and we also always seek to urge the Arab people in the Gulf. To take a position that rejects normalization… Far from any illusions, we rely on the popular position, and on the other hand, we are aware that the interests of the ruling classes, including the subordinate bourgeoisie, are linked in one way or another to the imperialist centres, and they are subject to pressure and bargaining, unless there is serious popular opposition.

* Recently, in the context of his rejection of normalization and betrayal, after the meeting of the Libyan Foreign Minister with the Foreign Minister of the Zionist enemy; The Libyan Arab people took to the streets, which frightened the Libyan government and made it take measures against the minister, leading to her “escaping” from Libya. Doesn’t this exit and the popular position put us on the ground? The importance of the popular masses in resolving the issue of normalization and its systems? Accordingly, who is responsible for the gap between the masses and their progressive parties, and its impact on their central Palestinian cause?

** The Prime Minister of the Zionist entity, Netanyahu, previously stated that the greatest obstacle to the normalization process is the Arab peoples who stand as an “obstacle” to the entity’s projects. And not the regimes… and this is something that no one can deny… Of course, no party can work in isolation from the will of the masses, as the popular masses are the center of power on which any national, democratic, or progressive Arab liberation party relies to confront puppet regimes and normalization projects… but The relationship here is dialectical, as the masses, too, need someone to express their interests in an organized manner. It analyzes the contradictions of objective reality in any society and leads the struggle for change… The role of the progressive parties here is to provide the correct mechanisms in their programs to mobilize the masses, resist imperialist domination and occupation, and confront normalization. They also have a responsibility to participate with the masses in their demands, to teach them and learn from them by engaging in the struggle. With it and between it and political, public, mobilization, educational and awareness-raising activities, and to keep the Palestinian issue always present at the top of the activists’ agenda.

* Is there a clear horizon for forming an Arab front to confront normalization and liquidation? Have you made tangible strides towards achieving it? In the same context, how do you view the role of intellectuals, academics, and national and societal institutions in every Arab country in confronting the Zionist invasion there?

** The ambition should not be to form a front to confront normalization and liquidation. Rather, the ambition and duty is to form a progressive, libertarian Arab resistance front that carries a comprehensive project not only for resistance, but for the struggle towards liberating the land and people… and in the face of the difficult, complex, contradictory and crisis reality that the leftist forces and movements are experiencing. National Liberation The forces of the radical revolutionary left, individually and collectively, must carry out bold critical analytical reviews of our reality in our countries and the shortcomings, shortcomings and failures, in order to work to overcome the current reality and prepare ourselves for active participation in the movement for change, leading to the building of a national, libertarian left-wing resistance movement. And linked to the masses, and possesses an alternative national, democratic, social project, such that the forces of the revolutionary left are an essential and not a marginal component of a new Arab national liberation movement that confronts projects of imperial hegemony, occupation, normalization, and plots to liquidate the Palestinian cause, completes the tasks of national liberation, and achieves the national democratic revolution with a socialist horizon, and this Through the following axes of struggle:

1- Dismantling and breaking dependency relationships leading to their liquidation.

2- Dismantling systems of tyranny, dependency, backwardness and corruption by extracting democratic gains in order to establish socially just, democratic national governance systems.

3- Maintaining political independence and struggling to achieve economic independence.

4- Pushing towards choosing the path of independent development to eliminate relations of backwardness and dependency and build productive economies and equal economic relations with abroad through strengthening exchange relations with emerging and liberal countries.

5- Rejecting the Zionist entity and not just rejecting normalization with it, participating in and supporting the resistance, and dealing with the Palestinian issue as the issue of all the forces of the Arab liberation movement.

6- Reaching forms of solidarity and unity of struggle between the forces of liberation and the Arab popular forces, and laying the foundations for cooperation and union between the liberated Arab countries on democratic foundations and far from annexation and annexation.

This is what we seek to achieve by establishing our relations, solidarity and cooperation with the forces of national liberation and resistance on these national and national bases to push the fulfillment of the entitlements and requirements to form the front concerned with representing our peoples in this existential battle, and this is what we always prepare ourselves for, and other than that means not only lingering in the crisis situation, Rather, there is more deterioration, regression, isolation, and marginality, while there is an objective reality and a historical process that is taking shape and awaiting a role for the revolutionary forces.

* How to read; The escalation of the Palestinian resistance, through all its means and formations, despite all the plans and measures targeting it, by the Zionist enemy, the Palestinian Authority, and its security services, and in what context do you put it? Is there a word you address to the Palestinian people and their resistance forces?

** We believe that resistance is a cumulative act, and armed struggle is the main path to liberation, and we saw this clearly during the clashes that occurred during this year. The occupation did not spare any means to target the resistance factions, which plunged them into a state of confusion and increased the extent of internal discord in the structure of the occupation. In the battle of the Ahrar’s Revenge, for example, whenever a resistance leader was martyred, another commander took over the rifle, and the resistance’s determination to seek revenge increased. In contrast, the cases of reverse migration of the occupiers increased, not to mention the filling of shelters under the bombardment of resistance missiles.

On the other hand, the development of the military capabilities of the Palestinian resistance and its factions has become noticeable in confronting Zionist incursion attempts, and we saw this when the Jenin Brigade recorded an epic steadfastness, as a result of which the occupation retreated. It is also worth noting the accumulation of resistance awareness today among a young generation that believes in the necessity of uniting the ranks of the resistance factions for the sake of liberation, despite the attempts of the authority and its security services to reveal information about those resisting the occupation and to stir up strife among them, as we saw what happened with the Lions’ Den Brigade, in a way that cannot be described as anything less than treason. This proves the failure of the occupier and its aides in achieving the most important goals of the Oslo Accords, which is the emergence of a generation that forgets the issue and does not know how to fight. We must not forget, of course, the Freedom Tunnel operation, which expressed the extent of the resilience of our Palestinian people and their insistence on getting rid of restrictions and gaining freedom.

Perhaps the best message we send from our website to the resistance factions are the words of the revolutionary fighter George Habash: “Israel is not stronger than America, and the people of Palestine are not weaker than the people of Vietnam.”

The second axis: The Saudi and Iranian agreement, the regional interactions in the Arab world, and the struggle over the international system

* An Iranian-Saudi agreement was recently signed under Chinese sponsorship. How do you view this agreement? Does it represent a qualitative shift in Saudi Arabia’s position and role? Will the regional conflict in the region cool? Or might the Zionist enemy exploit it to wage war on Iran?

** In the Kuwaiti Progressive Movement, we announced our welcome of the agreement announced in the joint tripartite statement between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Islamic Republic of Iran, and the People’s Republic of China. We see it as a step towards détente for the benefit of the peoples of the region. Based on our approach to establishing the rules of a new international order based on the principles of mutual respect between countries and solidarity between peoples, stopping wars and resolving differences through dialogue in accordance with the principle of achieving the common interest of peoples, and the agreement reached that includes agreeing to resume diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran, and restoring Opening embassies and emphasizing respect for the sovereignty of countries, non-interference in their internal affairs, and cooperation between the two countries.

We look forward to this agreement leading to the achievement of concrete steps towards addressing the thorny regional issues in accordance with the interests of the peoples of the region, thus blocking the path to the imperialist and Zionist conspiracy that has long sought to inflame tension in our region, stir up sectarian and ethnic strife, and engage our peoples and countries in fierce and destructive battles that only benefit our enemy. Perched on our land.

* In light of the crises that still exist in the Arab reality, and their regional interactions, the most prominent of which are: The Iranian and Turkish role, in Syria, Iraq, Yemen , Libya, and others. Do you appreciate, in light of your reading of the Arab reality, that the theory of challenge and response applies to it in formulating its relations with these active countries, meaning the necessity of subjecting these relations to communication and confrontation at the same time, in connection with the goals, plans, and practice of each? Which one of them?

** The Arab reality is governed by conditions that can be summarized in the following headings:

1- Relations of dependency are established in most of our Arab countries through the dominance of the controlling structures in the imperialist centers and the subordination of the comprador capitalist structures in the countries of the peripheries with rentier formation and a backward functional role within the framework of the international capitalist division of labor directed to serve the requirements of renewing production in the centers, and this reality is reinforced by political systems that are subservient by virtue of Its class connections and interests, in addition to the policies and practices of imperialist control over the economy, politics, security and culture in our countries, and the challenges and pressures that the aggressive racist Zionist entity represents as the advanced base of imperialist control in the region.

2- The intensification of the Zionist imperialist attack on our peoples and countries since 2001.

3- Blocking the horizon of development and progress in light of dependency relations. The power of subordinate regimes; The backwardness of the economic, social and political structures.

4- The expansion of organized forms of plunder of the capabilities of Arab countries, their national resources, and their natural wealth.

5- The scandalous inability to build an independent national state.

6- The deep economic and living crisis, weak productivity and widespread unemployment.

7- The spread of fanaticism and the outbreak of conflicts and internal wars in a number of our Arab countries.

8- The failure of the Arab popular uprisings and uprisings and the loss of the opportunity to develop a real revolutionary movement due to the absence of revolutionary leadership, the infiltrations of counter-revolutionary forces, and imperialist and reactionary interventions.

9- Imposing normalization with the Zionist entity, and expanding it beyond recognition of the occupying state and diplomatic relations with it, so that our peoples and societies are forced to normalize, and try to integrate the Zionist entity into the Arab region, and ally with it.

There is no doubt that external interventions from the countries of the region had an effective impact on the crises that some Arab countries faced and are still facing. This role contributed to changing the rules of conflict in the region in more than one place. Aside from talking about the position towards these interventions, the common interests between The countries of the region require a clear vision and serious work from these countries to reject differences, unify goals, and determine their position in the conflict, based on identifying the main contradiction represented by imperialism and its Zionist arm planted in the region, in light of commitment to the principle of state sovereignty, non-interference in private internal affairs, and respect for the will and interests of the peoples.

The crisis facing the existing world order, the unipolar system led by the United States of America, which we see retreating due to the intensification of its general crisis, the resistance of the peoples, the struggle of liberation movements, and the steadfastness of national and nation-states at a time when poles such as the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China are rising, constitutes a serious historical opportunity for the emergence of a new world order that contributes to By disengaging countries from the imperialist center, liberating peoples, stopping plunder, and beginning the process of human-centered development.

* The United States of America and those within its orbit are still working in all political, economic, security, military and technological fields… in order to maintain its dominance over the international system, and the continuation of its unipolarity: Do you see that there are real transformations in the structure of the international system, through the rising Chinese and Russian roles? ? If so, in your opinion, will these transformations reflect positively on many Arab issues, including the Palestinian issue?

** More than three decades have passed since the dissolution of the Soviet Union, during which the American pole dominated the world, causing global crises. These crises resulted in wars, humanitarian disasters, and political and economic crises that disrupted the global balance of power to achieve the interests of Western imperialism and its vassals and functional tools. All of this did not stop the process of history. With the decline and crisis of the global capitalist system, which we see today in a state of confusion.

We are currently observing a number of developments that have taken place at the global level, and while it can be said that they represent challenges; They constitute opportunities and open horizons for the forces of national liberation…the most prominent of which are:

1- The worsening crisis of capitalism, which is no longer, as it was, merely a repetition of the cyclical crisis of boom and bust.

2- The state of relative weakness and decline of the dominant imperial powers, and the beginning of a change in the balance of power as a result of the decline of the unipolar era and the emergence of the phenomenon of rising countries and the features of a multipolar global system.

3- The intensification of the tendency towards war.

4- The stark levels of social injustice revealed by the Corona pandemic.

5- The predicament of “bourgeois democracy” as a result of the widespread reluctance of the majority of citizens in the countries of the imperialist centers to participate in elections, which almost reaches the level of a boycott.

We can see in the Russian and Chinese rise that we are witnessing today an opportunity to form a new world order based on multipolarity, as we mentioned previously, which provides the opportunity for the liberation forces of the peoples to capture the initiative to take action and form alliances, and impose equations that will be the basis for liberation revolutions that fulfill the aspirations of the peoples for independence and the exploitation of wealth to develop the plundered countries of the world. And backwardness, these contradictions between the multiple poles create more space for the resistance movements and national liberation forces to weaken the Zionist entity on the one hand, and to begin a construction process according to a national-socialist liberation project.

But these facts, developments, challenges, or opportunities essentially require that the national liberation and resistance forces be in a position capable of dealing with them and capturing the historical moments in them.

* In connection with global economic transformations, American and Western sanctions and their consequences on the economies of countries, and the rise in inflation rates, with the crisis of American and Western banks and the collapse of some of them, and the “rot” of the capitalist system and its neoliberal model – so to speak – the rates of the poor, unemployment, destitution and need will increase steadily, in exchange for the concentration of wealth. In the hands of centres/people, which are constantly decreasing, which will fuel class-social and political conflicts at the level of the world as a whole, in many forms, so how can the forces of the radical left, Arab and international, play their required role in confronting American-Western imperialist policies, and standing side by side with the peoples? In her fateful battle?

** The capitalist system in the centers has always been reshaping itself, not by treating its crises radically, but by postponing them for another time so that they return in a relatively larger form. It treats its internal system “temporarily” by creating other crises, and the longer the crisis is postponed, the more complex and severe its complexity becomes, and the less its ability to deal with it decreases. Thus, he works to self-destruct his system. One example of the validity of this is what is happening in the crisis of the collapse of American banks, the most recent of which is Silicon Valley Bank and the resulting rise in inflation rates. To address the inflation crisis, the government resorts to raising the interest rate, which in turn causes a new crisis for the banks, so the government pumps money to help them, which causes an increase. Inflation is over!

Crises like these expose the rottenness of the American capitalist system and do not stop there, but rather cast their shadows on all countries that are economically linked to this neoliberal model, thus expanding the circle of those affected by the working classes and becoming poorer while the rich get richer, as decreasing wealth in one pole means its accumulation in another pole.

As the class difference between the haves and the have-nots widens, the extreme right is rising, as is happening in America and Europe, as well as in the Zionist entity – the advanced base of the imperialist center – for example, but not limited to, creating a class conflict with various secretions, including ethnic, religious, political…etc.

In this regard, our role, as progressive forces, stems from representing the interests of the working class and popular groups, and to push the accumulation and organization of conflict always towards disengaging from capitalist centers, and to work to stop dependency by confronting the neoliberal policies imposed on our people through the functional systems in our Arab world, and adopting economic policies. It ensures that national wealth is not monopolized by the controlling few and diversifies sources of income to achieve a fair distribution of wealth with the aim of improving the standard of living.

The third axis: The crisis of the Zionist entity and its future

* In light of the crisis of the Zionist entity against the backdrop of the so-called “judicial reforms”, how do you read them? Do you consider it a temporary crisis that the Zionist democratic system can absorb, address, or adapt in a way that does not harm the structure and role of the system? Or is it one of the phases of the structural transformations that Zionist “society” is witnessing and the continued rise of right-wingism and fascism in its ranks, which serves as the greatest revealer of the nature of the colonial-settler-replacement-genocidal project and its essence, the results of which will reverberate on the Zionist interior, especially since the “ghost” of Isaac’s killing Rabin (signer of the Oslo Accords alongside Yasser Arafat ) is present on the Zionist scene?

** We previously talked about the rise of the forces of the extreme right with the escalation of crises in the global capitalist system, and what is happening in the Zionist entity is part of this matter. Since January, Netanyahu, the Zionist Prime Minister and head of the right-wing Likud Party, who is accused of corruption and breach of trust, has been seeking to undermine the judicial system and the Supreme Court. With the aim of canceling his trial, through the so-called “judicial reforms project” led by the Zionist Minister of Justice. What opponents of the plan describe as a process of changing the composition of the judiciary and its powers to serve the interests of Netanyahu and his government at the expense of the interests of Israel – as they describe, and even described, as a political coup aimed at changing the essence of the regime in the Zionist entity.

The scene there may appear to be a political dispute only until we reach the so-called “Overcoming Clause Law,” which Netanyahu took to withdraw the powers of the Supreme Court by restricting it with regard to the annulment of Knesset laws, government decisions, or orders issued by the security and military establishment, through an ordinary majority vote. On the court decisions in the Knesset, that is, in other words, the monopolization of political, economic and military decisions within the ruling party, which clearly shows the crisis of structural transformation that Zionist society is witnessing. This crisis is the opposite of the power factors on which the occupation relied in its emergence.

The manifestations of this structural crisis were clearly evident in the clashes between opponents and supporters during the demonstrations against the backdrop of this project, and “strikes by unions and opposition political parties, the dismissal of former Zionist Minister of War Galant, and the threats of more than 1,100 reserve soldiers, including pilots, to stop volunteer service” contributed to the formation of a state of division that is difficult to achieve. Hiding it, somewhat similar to the case of the assassination of Yitzhak Rabin.

* The Zionist enemy, in its declared goals and measures based on Palestinian land, is heading towards what some of the leaders of its government call it, most notably “Smotrich.” The “Conflict Resolution” project, do you consider that the enemy has reached an advanced point in ending and liquidating the Palestinian issue, absolutely on its part? If so, what responsibility do the forces of the Arab liberation movement bear?

** The escalation of the brutality of the Zionist occupation is directly proportional to its internal crises. The “conflict resolution” project, as members of Netanyahu’s government call it, and their brutal practices on Palestinian land until now and since the beginning of this year, which coincided with the exposure of the structural crisis in the occupation society, are nothing but a declaration of the lack of The ability of the Netanyahu government to confront this crisis is the option that the extreme right is currently clinging to for its continued control at both levels. The internal one is to monopolize the decision and the government, and the external one is to try to liquidate the rising resistance movement that has expressed its adherence to the Palestinian cause, unlike the security coordination bodies.

We are on the cusp of a new phase globally and in the Arab world that casts a shadow over the Palestinian issue. Although all possibilities are open, a detailed reading of the Zionist scene and the reflection of global changes on it does not predict that the occupation will reach an advanced point in liquidating the issue. On the contrary, we have witnessed remarkable progress in building the military structure. The organizational and coordination of the resistance movements crystallizes and develops in the joint room of the Palestinian resistance factions, and the resistance now has the ability to import and self-develop weapons, as well as the rise of youth resistance factions, such as the Lions’ Den Brigade.

The responsibility now falls on the rest of the national liberation movements to support the Palestinian resistance and strengthen its steadfastness by uniting efforts and ranks behind it, and on a related level, continuing to put pressure on Arab governments to take a unified Arab position towards the Palestinian issue in order to achieve collective, material and tangible Arab support for the resistance until the occupation is defeated and its entity is liquidated.

* Do you see that the struggle against the Zionist presence in our Arab countries, with the Palestinian land at its heart, with the physical and institutional presence of “Israel,” can be separated from the struggle against the colonial and Western American imperialist powers? Accordingly, in your opinion, what is the importance of integrating the struggle process? Palestinian, Arab and international, in light of the structure and nature of the existing international system or potential change towards a multipolar world?

** Despite our belief that armed struggle and continuous attrition of the enemy is the primary path to liberation, “we may not need a decisive battle with Israel,” as Israel is the advanced base of imperialism in the Arab world, and in the wake of global changes and signs of the formation of a new multipolar world order in which the dominance of The imperialist powers that support the Zionist entity, yes, the colonial arm in the Arab world can be weakened by weakening the center. In other words, weakening the center will necessarily lead to the weakening of the parties supported by it, and from the scene of the internal erosion of the occupation society against the backdrop of its escalating crises, the possibility exists to develop new mechanisms to resolve the battle without… The need for a decisive military confrontation within the framework of an integrated Palestinian, Arab and international liberation project.

* Our last question: Is there a future for the so-called “State of Israel”?

** This question is linked to two paths that have no third… Either there will be a future for what is called the State of Israel, a racist, expansionist, colonialist, settler entity that plays a functional role in the service of imperialism, or there will be a national liberation future for our Arab homeland, of which all of Palestine forms a part, and we We will definitely adhere to the second path, and we have complete certainty that we will achieve our national liberation. We will prevail or we will be victorious.
