Police sealed off part of Dudley town centre after Nazi English Defence League protesters launched a roof-top demonstration at a disused building.
West Midlands Police arrived at the empty building in Hall Street on Sunday night, when they dispersed about 30 NEDL supporters, who had gathered for a protest rally.
Four racist Nazi’s then barricaded themselves on the roof and displayed anti-Islamic banners.
Police then sealed off Hall Street between Trindle Road and Dixons Green, while they negotiated with the protesters.
