Some British Jews are so fearful about the consequences of a government led by Jeremy Corbyn that they would leave the country if the Labour leader “got anywhere near the levers of power”, the Conservative chairman claims.
In an interview with The Sunday Telegraph, James Cleverly states that people he has known for “much of my life” have said they would be “out of here” if Mr Corbyn became prime minister.
Mr Cleverly, who is in charge of the Tory election campaign, said he was aware of individuals and groups, including entrepreneurs and other business figures, who planned to leave the country if Labour were to win the election.
