SOUTHERN IRAQ: A group of 26 Qatari falconers, some of them members of the “royal” family, the Al-Thaanis, were accosted at Layyaah, Al-Muthannaa Province, in Southern Iraq by a militant organization who took the vermin hostage. The group has traditionally visited this area in order to unleash their birds of prey upon small mammals in the desert or the most favored object, the Asian Houbara Bustard, a turkey as fat as the stinking leader of the miniscule monkey sheikhdom.
In a flash of irony no less skillful than that of the fabled American short story writer, O Henry, it turned out the 50+ Toyota four-wheel-drive pickups driven by the terrorists and festooned with the usual Croatian-manufactured Doschkas, were bought by the Qatari government for ISIS. The terrorist group reportedly swept in from neighboring Jordan where they were enjoying a huge vat of “mansaf” as guests of the Jordanian monarch, ‘Abdullah bin Antoinette Avril Gardiner. Of the 26 falconers, some were said to be Kuwayti and Saudi. However, SyrPer has information that the entire group was made up of Qataris, 7 of whom were tied to the “royal” goons of Doha.
This morning, the least important members of the group were released and sent to friendly Kuwait where they were subjected to the usual Arabian medical quackery. It is expected that none will survive that experience.
In any case, the remaining hostages are still unaccounted for and held somewhere in the desert. This is a case of the hunter becoming the hunted. The Syrian Army has liberated and occupied the entire Sheer Al-Sihaab and Point 793 in Hama Province. These locales overlook the town of Al-Sirmaaniyya. Almost all rats defending their positions on the heights were killed. All were foreigners. The few remaining survivors were observed fleeing for their lives to Jisr Al-Shughoor. The area has been combed by sappers for IEDs.
