Western anti-Muslim extremists never let escape any religious incident in the Muslim world without cashing on their ‘Islamophobic’ nature. The recent clashes between certain Muslim groups and the Coptic Christian minority in Egypt being flashed around the world by the Zionist-controlled media – are used to demonize the country’s Islamic organization, Muslim Brotherhood, for their intolerance toward non-Muslims. Israel and its western-poodles have openly declared their fear of Muslim Brotherhood coming into power in Egypt, Syria, Jordan and Tunisia.

The western media, as expected, was mum on the the issue which started the recent religious clash – leaving 13 people dead, over 100 injured and two churches damaged. It was not Muslims’ intolerance but the Christian intolerance which incited the sectarian strife. A young Christian woman Abeer Fakhry ound esape from her abusive Christian husband by marrying a Muslim. While the Coptic Church itself complains of discrimination by the country’s Muslim majority, this case also highlights denial of the freedom practised by the Church itself against its own members. Salwa, another young Christian mother of three who had converted to Islam seven years ago, was killed by members of her Christian family. One of her children was also killed. Her Muslim husband was injured.

Western media have shown clips of how the Coptic minority, like Israel, prefers Hosni Mubarak’s dictorial rule – because Hosni Mubarak looked the other way as the followers of Pope Shenouda chased converts to Islam in a bid to bring them back to Orthodox Christianity.

In November 2010 – Egypt’s parliament Foreign Affairs Committee chairman Dr. Dr Mostafa El Feki had accused the Israeli Mossad of being behind the 2010 clashes between Christian Copts and Muslims – which left one person dead and dozens injured.

In January 2011 – former Foreign Minister Abdallah al-Ashal had blamed Mossad for Alexandria curch bombing, which killed 22 people and wounded another 80.

The Zionist Jews consider both Muslims and Christians as anti-Israel. The Zionist-controlled mainstream media has succeeded in keeping the western-majority ignorant of the fact that Christians in Israel are treated worse than the Jews were treated by the Christians in Europe in the past. The first Palestinian who started resistance against Jewish occupation of Palestine, George Habash, was a Christian – and so were the founder of Ba’ath Party (Michael Aflak), Syrian Social National Party (Antoun Saadi), and Arab nationalism (Costantine Zureik).

Between 250-1945, the Jewish communities were expelled from almost every Christian-majority European country. Tens of thousands of thess Jews took refuge in Muslim lands, such as, Muslim Spain, Palestine, Iraq, Morocco, Albania, etc. Even Arab-hating Jewish Orientalist, Dr. Bernard Lewis, had painfully admitted that Muslim Spain provided the ‘Golden Age’ for its Jewish communities.

The purpose of religious sectarian strife is to create hatred and panic among religious communities to sabotage the coming September election and make the current pro-West military junta’s rule permanent. The Zionist Jews played a similar trick on Iraqi Jewish communities in the past, making the entire Jewish population of 137,000 flee to newly created Zionist entity. American Jewish scholar Noam Chomsky confirmed recently that Washington fears democratic regimes in the Middle East.

In order to fight Israel-US evil agenda, Muslim Brotherhood has launched‘Freedom and Justice Party’ (pending approval from the ruling military junta) with a Coptic politician Rafiq Habib as its Vice-president with 8821 members, including 978 women and 93 Copts.

Earlier Iranian Parliament (Majlis) Speaker Ali Larijani in his meeting with Fahmi Howeidi and Hassan Nafea, two Egyptian political and social scholars – warned them of the Israel-US tactics to hijack Egyptian uprising.

Early this month, Washington’s stagged death of Osama Bin Laden in Abbottabad has proved that Obama administration is in its final stages to denuclearize Pakistan before US-Israel planned attack on Islamic Republic from possible four fronts (Iraq, Afghanistan, Saudi Arabia and Pakistan). In the aftermath of the faked Osama Bin Laden’s assassination, the US Jewish Lobby has accelerated its propaganda campaign calling for a freeze on USAID to Pakistan as a punitive measure for its providing heaven to Osama Bin Laden (Pakistan has received $20 billion as compared to Israel’s $3,000 billion since 1970s). In addidtion to that the CIA-Mossad-RAW alliance have kept its terror activities inside Pakistan.

Pakistan is not an easy military target as was Iraq, Afghanistan or Libya. It’s the only Muslim country with nuclear deterrant (70-90 nuclear bombs) and home to the third largest Armed Force in the region after its neighboring China and India. In addition, Pakistan provides the major lifeline to US-NATO occupation force of 150,000 soldiers plus over 100,000 private contractors in Afghanistan. More than 75% of military and civilian supplies to over 400 foreign bases in occupied Afghanistan pass through Pakistan via land or airspace.

The Israel-Firsters lawmakers at the Capitol Hill like to forget that Pakistan doesn’t live on US handouts alone as Israel does. Pakistan has an active partnership with another major power, potentially a viable substitute for the US should relations with the Obama administration continue to deteriorate. The US-Pakistan relationship has swung from close alliance in the Afghan-USSR years of the 1980s to unmistaken alienation in the early 1990s, when Pakistan was on AIPAC’s watch list as a state supporting international terrorism. Relations between Pakistan and China, on the other hand, have been consistently cordial for almost three decades. Pakistan’s Chinese alliance, noted fitfully by the US is one of its most potent weapons in any future showdown with the Obama administration.

In the face of the coming military confrontaion – China has officially put the United States on notice that Washington’s planned attack on Pakistan will be interpreted as an act of aggression against China. This blunt warning represents the first known strategic ultimatum received by the United States in half a century, going back to Soviet warnings during the Berlin crisis of 1958-1961, and indicates the grave danger of general war growing out of the US-Pakistan confrontation.

Pakistan must realize that the same mental and emotional manipulation deployed to induce a U.S.-led invasion of Iraq is now being used to provoke an invasion of Iran. Meir Dagan pulls Zio-Nazi rug Again!

Early this month, ex-Mossad chief Meir Dagan, who resigned after the January 2010 assassination of Hamas commander Mahmoud al-Mabhouh by Mossad agents (both male and female) in Dubai – had called Israeli idea of attacking Islamic Iran as “absolute stupidity”. Now, Meir Dagan admits that opposition to Palestinian statehood in the form of the upcoming September vote before the General Assembly is a serious error of judgment.

Dagan told his audience that Palestinian statehood is an outcome that is unstoppable. It would be far more in Israel’s interest to come to terms with the declaration of statehood than to oppose.

It’s interesting to note that an Israeli Jewish mass killer is more honest than the leaders of world’s morality squad, such as, Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, David Cameron, Angela Markel, Sarkozy, Benji Netanyahu, Abe foxman, etc.

Over 130 of the 192 member of the United Nations have pledged so far  to support the establishment of a Palestinian state if it is brought up for a vote by the General Assembly this coming September. However, none of them have in mind Obama’s absurd notion of a demilitarized state of Palestine being declared by the Palestinian Authority.

Benji Netanyahu and other radical Jewish leaders have rejected Barack Obama’s vision of the establishment of a demilitarized Palestinian mini-state on parts of the territories occupied by the Israel Occupation Forces (IOF) in 1967. This state would become a Bantustan with its foreign policy dictated by the Zionist Occupied Governments (ZOG) – undoubtedly a mockery of the Palestinian people’s right to self-determination.

Currently, no demilitarized sovereign state exists in the world. Currently, there are over two dozen ‘entities’ which do not have regular armed forces – as their agreed borders are protected by the former colonial powers. These ‘entities’ (Iceland, Monaco, Vatican, Grenada, Samoa, etc.) have police or para-military force to keep law and order.

Frankly, Obama’s vision of an independent, democratic and contiguous Palestinian state that would not be allowed to have a military to defend its borders from the Jewish army or having defense pacts with its neighboring countries (Egypt, Turkey, Iran and Lebanon) – is nothing but a sick joke.

UN: ‘Iran humiliates US-Canada’

On May 26, 2011 – Islamic Republic was re-elected to the 47-member United Nations’ Commission on Population and Development with a majority vote for the next four-year-term despite feverish anti-Iran campaign at United Nations by Washington and Ottawa. The two pro-Israel governments lead by Barack Obama and Stephen Harper used a number of diplomatic maneuvers to try to persuade the member states of the UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) to vote Islamic Republic out of the commission but failed miserably as was the case last time.

American envoy, Zionist Susan Rice, said that his country was “deeply disappointed” that the UN Economic and Social Council voted to extend Iran’s membership in the council’s Commission on Population and Development. Tehran terminated its diplomatic relation with Washington after 1979 Islamic Revolution.

Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird issued a statement on Iran’s re-election, saying, “Canada deplores the election of Iran to a seat on the United Nations Commission on Population and Development. Canada remains extremely troubled by the outrageous human rights abuses committed by Iran against its own citizens, and by Iran’s threats and actions to undermine the safety, security and stability of its neighbors (read Israel)”. Tehran maintains token diplomatic relation with Ottawa.

In response to Canadian Foreign Affairs Minister John Baird’s knee-jerk reaction to Iran’s re-election, Tehran’s envoy at the United Nations, Eshaq Al-Habib remarked: “I do not find Canada’s views so much important to address them because it only follows disciplines and policies of the US”.

Islamic Iran’s candidacy was endorsed by Bangladesh, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines and Turkmenistan.

The United States and Canada also claimed that they opposed the renewal of Iran’s membership in ECOSOC on the grounds that Tehran’s standpoint differs from that of Washington and Ottawa – such as abortion or homosexuality at the UN council but Iran objects to the move and many countries support Iran’s stance in this regard.

Following the failure of attempts by the representatives of the US and Canada to block the renewal of Iran’s membership, Washington requested that the issue be put to a vote.

The majority of the 54 ECOSOC member states voted in favor of renewing Iran’s membership, according to a press release by the office of the Iranian envoy to the United Nations

Gates: ‘Iraq needs US forces to defend ME from Iran’

On May 24, 2011 – the outgoing US Secretary of Defense, Robert M. Gates, addressed the American Enterprise Institute (AEI), a neocon think tank headed by radical Jew Arthur C. Brooks with Islamophobe members such as John Bolton, Newt Gingrich, Richard Perle, Paul Wolfowitz, Michael Novak and Ayaan Hirsi ali to name a few.

Robert Gates’ last major rant sent alarm to his pro-Israel hawkish audience that the country’s “bleak fiscal outlook” is likely to force the Pentagon to shrink the size of the armed forces.

The Obama administration has proposed a $553 billion budget (down from the current $708 billion) for the Pentagon next year, excluding the cost of the on-going wars in Afghanistan and Iraq which has already cost over $1.1 trillion to US taxpayers since 2001.

However, Gates did assure the paranoid Israel-Firsters that some American troops need to remain in Iraq beyond the scheduled withdrawal of all United States forces by the end of this year, as it would be reassuring to Persian Gulf countries (including Israel, of course), but not to Iran. “And that’s a good thing”.

Gates cited that politicians loyal to Moqtada al-Sadr want all occupying forces to leave Iraq by the end of year but that demand is debatable “how much of that is the Sadrists and how much of that is the Iranians behind the Sadrists”. The 70 MPs belonging to  Ammar al-Hakim and Muqtada al-Sadr groups – have insisted that all American forces must be out of Iraq by the end of December, the deadline agreed to by Iraq and the United States.

Although Gates and other Israel-Firsters had held out the possibility that some US forces could stay in Iraq beyond the end of the year, Gates had never before mentioned the Islamic Republic as a factor in the Obama administration’s thinking.

Dr. Frederick W. Kagan, is a member of AEI. He alnog with his father Donald and brother Robert is a signatory to the notorious ‘Project for the New American Century (PNAC)’. In his recent report he said that Iran’s use of military proxy groups poses the most serious threat to Iraq’s (read Israel’s) security.

The Western ZOGs are paranoid about the Iranian threat against their colonial agenda in the world that it’s okey for every Dick and Harry dictator and fascist thug to visit Washington and have dinner with Ben Obama – but if some world leader, even pro-Israel, visit Tehran – becomes a horrifying news. This the smoking gun which is being played against Nuri al-Miliki, who visited Damascus and Tehran late last year.

Robert Gates, as a typical self-denier, boasted that he would not have predicted five months ago, before the uprisings in the Arab world, that “Iraq would emerge as the most advanced Arab democracy in the entire region (he also believes Israel being the “only democracy in the ME”). As messy as it is, the Iraqis weren’t in the streets shooting each other, the government wasn’t in the streets shooting its people”.

Pro-American secularist Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki is facing political pressure from Islamists, who are among Maliki’s most important allies. This month, however, Maliki said he would meet with Iraqi leaders to discuss whether US forces should remain beyond the end of the year. If a majority of Iraqi lawmakers and political leaders support the idea, Maliki said, he would be open to asking some US forces to stay. And he told Islamist lawmakers that they would have to accept the majority’s decision.

US-Israel with the help of Hosni Mubarak offered Hamas only one way out. Subordinate to Fatah, relinquish power in Gaza and hand the border crossings back to the Western-backed secularist and corrupt Fatah lead by Mahmoud Abbas. Hamas refused. It seems, to the great dismay of Tel-Aviv-Washington, the regime change in Cairo could slowly be turning into another Israel’s imaginery threat to its existence. The military junta’s first anti-Semitic action was to force Mahmoud Abbas to make peace with the democratically elected Islamic Resistance Hamas, currently ruling Gaza.

Today, Cairo partially opened the Rafah border-crossing to the beseiged 1.5 million native Muslims and Christians inside tiny Gaza ghetto. Now, Women would be able to leave Gaza without restrictions, while men between the ages of 18 and 40 would have to obtain visas for Egypt at the border. However, the old restriction on transfer of goods across the crossing will remain in force.

The lifting of the four-year-old blockade at Rafah border-crossing, though, will not allow Hamas to receive Iranian missile but certainly means a blow to the US-Israeli international isolation of 1.5 million Gaza inhabitants. Now, Zionist-regime will be left with its siege on its own border with Gaza. Israel currently maintains the only border crossing that allows goods to cross. And once Cairo decides to remove even this restriction – the US-Israeli policy towards Islamic Resistance and Palestinian will go down the drain serving none of  Zionist agenda.

The Zionist-regime with the help of its poodles in western world governments has long been spreading lies for inforcing its naval and ground blockade of Hamas-ruled Gaza Strip on the fear of Hamas receiving arms from Iran via Syria, Egypt and Lebanon. Israel’s blockade was never meant for the political defeat of Hamas but to turn Gazan genocide into profit.

The Gaza Strip is the most aid-dependent area in the world. Without the ability to export and to import raw materials, without the needed infrastructure for local industry, the Gaza Strip is unable to generate sufficient local income to sustain its population and must depend on aid. The Israeli siege thus creates the conditions for large amounts of aid to be sent to Gaza.

This aid must pass through Israeli ports and airports, with customs,storage fees, and transport fees ending up in the coffers of Israeli companies. The limitations set by Israel on the number of trucks allowed to enter Gaza and the prolonged checks the goods must go through increase the transportation and storage costs dramatically.

Much of the aid comes in the form of products – food, animal feed, petrol, cooking gas, medicine, etc. – procured from Israeli companies.  These companies have thus been able to find a captive market in Gaza, get paid up-front (because checks from banks in the Gaza Strip aren’t accepted in Israel), and increase their sales. Most importantly, this aid is funded with foreign currency, but the goods come from Israeli companies which must be paid in Israeli currency. The result is that massive amounts of foreign currency are converted at the Central Bank of Israel into Israeli shekels in order to fund aid, and the Central Bank of Israel gets to keep the foreign currency. In effect, the Israeli siege of Gaza has transformed the aid industry into one of Israel’s biggest exports – companies that would normally provide domestic services have become sources for foreign currency, which contributes to Israel’s overall economic strength and has already eliminated Israel’s trade deficit almost entirely.

 

Saudi Arabia: Can’t People Detect the Smile?


 

My immune system is presently compromised.  I am unable to easily fight off infections and highly susceptible to germs or viruses.  As a result I wear a mask when I leave my residence…which nowadays is just to the hospital where I receive daily injections to give my bone marrow much needed boosters.  I am finding that people are more wary of a person wearing a medical mask than wearing a niqab.

I’m by nature a gregarious person who enjoys the company of others.  I have no difficulty to give a smile of welcome.  Smiling was something I had to learn to curtail in Saudi Arabia where a simple smile could be misperceived.  However in North Carolina most people do smile.  Now that I havr to wear the mask people can not see that I am smiling in spite of the medical challenges.  I look at an oncoming person and find that most tend to avert their gaze down to the ground when they see I am wearing a mask.  Can they not detect there is a smile behind the mask?

It is also a natural instinct I think to look down when passing a woman wearing the niqab.  In her case she has chosen to cover her face and thereby silently states she wants her privacy protected.  Yet I have also noticed how expressive women who wear a niqab can be with their eyes.  I guess years of practice make a difference.  Or perhaps when random folks see a mask they do not bother to look at the eyes.  I guess next time I go out I’ll draw a smiley face on the outer side of my mask.

Tel Aviv, Washington and NATO are taking advantage of the upheavals in the Arab World. Not only are they fighting against the legitimate aspirations of the Arab people, they are manipulating  the Arab geo-political landscape as part of their strategy to control Eurasia.
 Sectarian Conflicts in Egypt: A Means to Weaken the Egyptian State

Egypt is ruled by a counter-revolutionary military junta. Despite the increasing assertiveness of the Egyptian people, the old regime is still in place. Yet, its foundations are becoming shakier as the Egyptian people become more radical in their demands.
Like in the Mubarak era, the military regime in Cairo is also allowing sectarianism to spread in Egypt in an effort to create divisions within Egyptian society. In early-2011 when Egyptians stormed government buildings they discovered secret papers that showed that the regime was behind the attacks on Egypt’s Christian community.
Recently, so-called  Salafist extremists have attacked Egyptian minorities including Christians but also Shiite Muslims. Egyptian activists and leaders in the Coptic and Shia community are pointing their fingers at the military junta in Cairo, Israel, and Saudi Arabia.
The Egyptian military junta, Tel Aviv, and the Al-Sauds are all part of an ominous alliance. This grouping is the backbone of the U.S. imperial structure in the Arab World. They are dependent on Washington. They prevail inasmuch as the U.S. remains dominant in Southwest Asia and North Africa.
The Al-Sauds are now working with Washington in Egypt to establish a supposedly Islamic government. This is being done through political parties that the Al-Sauds have funded and helped organize. The new so-called Salafist movements are primary examples of this. It also appears that the Muslim Brotherhood or at least branches of it have been co-opted.
The Saudi-Israeli Alliance and the Politics of Division

The ties of the Al-Sauds to Tel Aviv have in recent years become increasingly visible and pervasive. This secret Israeli-Saudi alliance exists within the context of a broader Khaliji-Israeli alliance. The alliance with Israel is formed through strategic cooperation between the ruling families of Saudi Arabia and the Arab sheikhdoms in the Persian Gulf.
Together Israel and the Khaliji ruling families form a frontline for Washington and NATO against Iran and its regional allies. The alliance also acts on behalf of Washington to destabilize the region. The roots of chaos in Southwest Asia and North Africa are this Khaliji-Israeli alliance.
In line with the U.S. and the E.U., it is the alliance formed by Israel and the Khaliji rulers that has worked to create ethnic divisions between Arabs and Iranians, religious divisions between Muslims and Christians, and confessional divisions between Sunnis and Shiites. It is the “politics of division” or “fitna” that has also served to keep the Khaliji ruling families in power and Israel in its place. Israel and the Khaliji ruling families would not survive without the regional fitna.
The Al-Sauds and Tel Aviv are the authors of the Hama-Fatah split and the estrangement of Gaza from the West Bank. They have worked together in the 2006 war against Lebanon with a view to crushing Hezbollah and its political allies. Saudi Arabia and Israel have also cooperated in spreading sectarianism and sectarian violence in Lebanon, Iraq, the Persian Gulf, Iran, and now Egypt.
Israel and the Khaliji monarchies serve Washington in its objective to ultimately neutralize Iran and its allies, as well as any form of resistance against the U.S. in Southwest Asia and North Africa. This is why the Pentagon has been heavily arming Tel Aviv and the Khaliji sheikhdoms. Washington has also been setting up missile shields aimed at Iran and Syria in Israel and the Arab sheikhdoms.

Iranophobia
The alliance between the Khaliji sheikhdoms and Israel has been instrumental in creating a wave of Iranophobia in the Arab World. The ultimate objective of Iranophobia is to transform Iran in the eyes of Arab public opinion, into an enemy of the Arab people, thereby distracting attention from the real enemies of the Arab World, namely the neo-colonial powers which occupy and control Arab lands.
Iranophobia is a PsyOp, an instrument of propaganda. The strategic objective is to isolate Iran and reconfigure the geo-political landscape of Southwest Asia and North Africa. Moreover, Iranophobia has been used by the Khaliji ruling families, from the U.A.E. to Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, as a pretext for the repression of their own people, who are demanding basic freedoms and democratic rights in the sheikhdoms.
The March 14 Alliance in Lebanon, which is a collection of Khaliji-U.S. clients and Israeli allies, has also used Iranophobia and the “politics of division” to try to attack Hezbollah and its political allies in Lebanon The objective is to weaken and undermine Lebanese-Iranian and Lebanese-Syrian ties. The March 14 Alliance, specifically the Hariri-controlled Future Movement, has imported into Lebanon the so-called Salafist fighters of Fatah Al-Islam with the objective of getting them to attack Hezbollah. The Future Movement has also had a role in the Israeli-Saudi-U.S. project to destabilize Syria and remove it from the Resistance Bloc.

The standard-bearers of Anglo-American imperialism in the current epoch, President Barack Obama and Prime Minister David Cameron, met in London on May 25 to discuss the world’s two ongoing wars of aggression, those in Afghanistan and Libya, both under the command of the North Atlantic Treaty Organization dominated by Washington and London.
As well as joining a barbecue for American and British troops in the prime minister’s haunts, in the gardens of Number 10 Downing Street, the two potentates called for continuing to bomb Libya back to the Paleolithic Age.
Displaying what passes for sophisticated humor in the contemporary deadened age, Cameron told the press, “It was…probably the first time in history, as we stood behind that barbecue, that I can say a British prime minister has given an American president a bit of a grilling.”
Correspondents chuckled as Libyan, Afghan and Pakistani civilians writhe in their death throes from the bombs and Hellfire missiles delivered by Cameron’s and Obama’s warplanes.
Waxing as reflective as he is capable of doing, the British prime minister added: “Barack and I came of age in the 1980s and ’90s. We saw the end of the Cold War and the victory over communism. We saw the invasion of Kuwait by Saddam Hussein and the world coming together to liberate that country. Throughout it all, we saw presidents and prime ministers standing together for freedom.”
Standing shoulder-to-shoulder in triumphalism and unbridled militarism, more like.
British, French, Italian, Danish, Dutch, Norwegian, Qatari and United Arab Emirate warplanes have flown over 8,000 sorties and more than 3,000 combat missions against Libya since NATO took control of the war on March 31, before which the U.S. and Britain fired at least 160 cruise missiles into the nation. Hours before Cameron and Obama enjoyed their barbecue, NATO warplanes launched a one-hour bombardment of the Libyan capital of Tripoli, the most ferocious attack in more than two months, killing 19 people and injuring over 130 others.
The third plenipotentiary of Anglo-American global power projection, the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton, Baroness Ashton of Upholland – who succeeded former NATO secretary general Javier Solana in the post – was in Washington last week to meet with Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and plan more onerous joint sanctions against Syria, with Clinton stating “we discussed additional steps that we can take to increase pressure and further isolate the Assad regime,” exemplifying the diplomatic finesse the world has come to expect from the foreign policy executrix of the world’s sole military superpower.
A week before, the European Union and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), whose six member states – Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Bahrain and Oman, to a one hereditary monarchies, emirates and theocracies, but accounting for 45 per cent of the world’s proven oil reserves – are the West’s main allies and proxies in the Arab world and the Persian Gulf, issued a joint declaration demanding that Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi abdicate power in favor of the rebel Transitional National Council financed and armed by NATO and GCC nations and advocating the easing out of Yemen’s President Ali Abdullah Saleh in favor of a more pliant and reliable client.
The EU and GCC, with not a scintilla of apparent irony given the above, also demanded that Iran “play a constructive role and stop interfering in the internal affairs of GCC member states and other countries in the region.” On March 14 the first of 1,500 troops from Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the other GCC states entered Bahrain, two days after U.S. Defense Secretary Robert Gates left the kingdom, to back up the Al Khalifa dynasty against opponents of the religious minority-dominated autocracy.
The following week Kuwait deployed naval forces off Bahrain “to protect the territorial waters of the kingdom” as part of the GCC’s Peninsula Shield Force military intervention.
In announcing the penultimate round of sanctions against Syria in late April, President Obama included Iran, claiming “Iran’s actions in support of the Syrian regime place it in stark opposition to the will of the Syrian people.” The will of the Bahraini people is another matter.
Since April the GCC, of which Yemen is not a member, has been pressuring the Yemeni government to accept its alleged mediation efforts to effect a change of regime, an initiative backed by the U.S. and its NATO allies. As German foreign ministry spokesman Andreas Peschke recently informed the press, “We call on President Saleh not to seek to wait out the situation, and to seriously consider and accept the mediation offer made by the Gulf Cooperation Council.” He added that “The European Union might take new measures to up pressure on the regime ‘should President Saleh stubbornly hang on.'” [1]
During his meeting with Prime Minister Cameron on the same day, President Obama chimed in by stating, “We call upon President Saleh to move immediately on his commitment to transfer power.”
On May 23 European Union foreign ministers levied more stringent sanctions against Belarus, Iran, Libya and Syria, four nations – hardly surprisingly – also targeted by the U.S. for regime change.
Neither the U.S. nor its NATO allies in the European Union have breathed a word about introducing sanctions against the kings and emirs of the GCC states.
Qatar and its GCC partners were the prime movers behind the action by the Arab League, of which they constitute barely a quarter of the members, to call for a United Nations resolution against Libya on March 12. A week later the U.S., Britain, France and their NATO allies began the bombardment of the country.
Diminutive Qatar, an absolute monarchy with a population under 1.7 million, was the first country to recognize the rebel regime in Libya, the first Persian Gulf state to join a NATO combat mission by supplying French-made Mirage fighter jets and U.S.-origin C-17 Globemasters for the war effort, and set up a satellite television channel – Ahrar TV – as the mouthpiece for the Transitional National Council, as well as providing it with French-made MILAN missile launchers. Qatar is also managing oil exports from rebel-controlled Libya.
A news source in Azerbaijan published the following account on March 28, nine days after the war against Libya was launched:
“NATO’s operation, worth about $300-500 million a day, on sweeping the sky over Libya opens a new historical era: the beginning of colonial conquests by the Persian Gulf states. At the same time NATO acts as a ‘soldier of fortune’ – a professional mercenary, ensuring colonial conquest itself.
“The defeat of Colonel Qaddafi’s ground forces by NATO aviation has opened possibilities for the opposition for restoration of oil exports from Libya. As a result, according to a representative for the economy and oil of the ‘transitional government’ of the opposition, Ali Tarkhuni, the opposition has already reached an agreement on oil exports under the supervision of Qatar.” [1]
On April 14 President Obama hosted the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, at the White House and praised his guest for “the leadership” he demonstrated in promoting “democracy in the Middle East,” particularly in Libya, adding:
“Qatar has not only supported [the campaign against Libya] diplomatically but has also supported it militarily and we are very appreciative of the outstanding work that the Qataris have done side by side with other international coalition members.” The emir responded by thanking Obama for “the position the U.S. has taken in support of the democratization process that has taken place in Tunisia and in Egypt and what is attempting to take place in Libya.”
The United Arab Emirates (UAE), which is one of 49 official Troop Contributing Nations supplying forces for NATO’s International Security Assistance Force in Afghanistan (Bahrain, though not in that category, also has military personnel assigned to NATO in the war zone), announced last week that it will be the first Arab nation to send an ambassador to NATO headquarters in Brussels. The UAE is also the only other Arab state providing warplanes for the now 68-day attack against Libya.
Along with its fellow GCC member states Qatar, Kuwait and Bahrain, the UAE is a member of the NATO Istanbul Cooperation Initiative military partnership established in 2004. NATO has conducted conferences, sent leading military commanders and deployed warships to all six GCC nations, including Saudi Arabia and Oman, not yet full members of the Istanbul Cooperation Initiative. The Alliance’s ever-expanding role in the Persian Gulf is designed to contain and when the opportunity arises confront Iran.
Two years ago French President Nicolas Sarkozy travelled to the UAE to open his nation’s first military base in the Middle East, in the Abu Dhabi emirate, where he stated to his host: “Be assured that France is on your side in the event your security is at risk.”
In the middle of April, starting on the day Obama met with Qatar’s Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani, NATO foreign ministers met in Berlin to plan the intensification of the war against Libya, with Hillary Clinton stating that the bloc’s members were “sharing the same goal, which is to see the end of the Gaddafi regime in Libya.” The NATO foreign ministers signed a declaration pledging continuation of the war which was also signed by representatives of Jordan, Qatar, Morocco, Sweden, Ukraine and the United Arab Emirates, all members of NATO partnership programs: The Mediterranean Dialogue, Partnership for Peace and Istanbul Cooperation Initiative.
Ten days ago Moroccan Foreign Minister Taieb Fassi Fihri announced that his nation intends to join the Gulf Cooperation Council, and the GCC reciprocated by confirming that it was considering the request and a parallel one by Jordan. Neither country is near the Persian Gulf but both are monarchies.
At the Congress of Vienna in 1815 after the final defeat of Napoleon Bonaparte at Waterloo, the monarchies in Russia, Austria and Prussia created what became known as the Holy Alliance to unite the European continent under a coalition of kings, czars and emperors exploiting a patina of religiosity to forever fend off the reappearance of republicanism. Of forces they couldn’t control.
The self-proclaimed champions of Euro-Atlantic values gathered under the banner of NATO have now found their fitting complement: The kingdoms and emirates of Bahrain, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. A kinship indeed exists, as the majority of nations bombing Libya on both sides are monarchies: Belgium, Britain, Denmark, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Qatar and the United Arab Emirates, as well as NATO partner Sweden which has assigned eight Gripen warplanes for the war and Canada once removed.
Last September the Financial Times reported that Washington planned to sell $123 billion worth of arms to GCC states – $67.8 billion to Saudi Arabia, $35.6 billion to the United Arab Emirates, $12.3 billion to Oman and $7.1 billion to Kuwait – in addition to incorporating the Gulf states into the global U.S. missile shield system.
The White House later confirmed a $60 billion weapons deal with Saudi Arabia, the largest foreign arms transaction in American history.
The U.S., Britain, France, Italy and their NATO allies have revealed their plans for control of the Middle East and the Persian Gulf: A comprehensive military alliance with the royal families of the Arab world.

The enemies of truth, freedom, and justice are highly mobilized, well funded, and efficiently organized.
The institutional structures of power, whether local, national or global, are effective mechanisms through which the ruling groups of society establish and entrench their influence, build consensus among each other, brainwash and expand their control over the masses and society as a whole. Whether they take the form of think tanks, universities, governments, corporations, militaries, intelligence agencies, NGOs, media conglomerates, international organizations, philanthropic foundations, they are institutions of control and conquest.
Whether that conquest is ideological or physical, the effect is the same: the conquered are oppressed and repressed.
These institutions are financed through the global banking system of collusion between the private banks and quasi-governmental central banks, who control the money supply and value of the change in your pocket, which are in fact a highly concentrated group of institutions and individuals. Never in all of human history have so few controlled so much on such a global scale, nor have so many had so little on an equally global scale.
Never before in history have the mechanisms for absolute total global control and oppression been within such close reach. We are seeing the emergence of this ‘new society’ in which governments are increasingly imperialistic abroad and militaristic at home, as domestic police states are established under the guise of ‘homeland security’, sold on the pretense of protecting people from terrorists, but in actuality are designed to protect the powerful from the people.
Increasingly, civil rights and freedoms are being dismantled for the wider populations: countries and peoples all around the world are subjected to bombings, drone attacks from flying killer robots in the sky named “Predators”, and high-tech military equipment is designed and used to more effectively kill and conquer poor people all around the globe.
In the emerging ‘homeland security states’, technology is being used to spy on people, all internet traffic monitored, phones tapped, cameras recording not only our images, but through biometrics they are categorizing and quantifying our specific individual faces and emotional responses. We are, increasingly, seeing the emergence of a hybrid nightmarish scenario of ‘Brave New World’ meets ‘1984.’ Technology has largely facilitated the advances in these areas and has, for the first time in all of human history, made possible the notion of a truly global police state.
Yet… there is still hope.
The Technological Revolution has not only facilitated a more rapid and effective apparatus for the institutions of power to exploit in methods of oppression and control, but it has simultaneously facilitated the rapid and effective means through which more people than ever before in human history have access to and empowerment through information and communication on a truly global scale.
As a result of the Internet, the traditional institutions of power have lost their monopoly of control over information and communication.
The very same technological advances that make possible their methods of control and conquest are simultaneously making possible their eventual downfall and failure. While the powerful have the money and are highly centralized, the rest of the world increasingly have the means and remain highly decentralized. And while the powerful are few, the rest are many. The Internet and social media have become effective means through which people are able to empower themselves to struggle against and expose the institutions of power that seek to oppress and control them. Naturally, those same institutions seek to influence – whether overtly or covertly – those very same avenues of social media, they are still effective and available for the struggle for liberation from oppression.
Here at Global Research, we have been able to harness these new communications technologies. We are committed to providing free and accessible information to the many in order to expose the few.
Our aim is to struggle against and expose the institutions of power, and to empower the people to take this endeavour into their own hands… and onto their own keyboards.

Have the Metropolitan Police gone mad?

Of course, I never expected to recieve any kind of justice or honesty from an investigation which consisted of the Metropolitan Police, whom I consider to be one of the most corrupt and inept institutions in the country, investigating themselves, but their report on my case was even poorer than I could have imagined. As I stated during my interview on BBC News last night, I believe that the police are acting as the biggest, armed, government-sponsored gang. Interestingly, rather than informing myself or my solicitor in advance, as would be normal procedure, the findings of the investigation were released straight to the media, late on a Friday afternoon.

It is becoming increasingly clear that the police are intent on whitewashing what is a clear case of police brutality. They have now admitted to striking me with a baton, and there is video evidence, which has been viewed by hundreds of thousands of people online, of a police officer tipping me out of my wheelchair and dragging me across the road. If this had been any other member of the public, he would be on trial for assault, but because it was a police officer, unaccountability is once again the order of the day.

But it is very difficult for me to be surprised by any of this. It is difficult for me to be surprised when I know that Alfie Meadows, who almost died from his injuries at the same demonstration, has been charged with violent disorder, and will face his first hearing on June 9th. If he had died from his injuries, would the police still have charged him, in absentia? It is difficult for me to be surprised when I know that the families of Sean Rigg, Ricky Bishop, Smiley Culture, Kingsley Burrell, and many more who have died in police custody, never got justice. It is difficult for me to be surprised to know that the same Directorate of Professional Standards who are currently claiming there is “no evidence” to support my complaints, also made an initial ruling that no police officer would be put on trial for the death of Ian Tomlinson. Now, two years later, PC Simon Harwood has been charged with manslaughter.

Throughout the report the police officers involved have stated that they were acting in my best
interests, and this appears to have been accepted by those carrying out the investigation. That
is a telling indication of how the Metropolitan Police views disability; the MPS as an organisation appears to believe that the fact someone has a disability renders them incapable of determining their own best interest or to act with autonomy.

Even with regard to my ejection from my wheelchair, the police officers involved try to justify their behaviour by referring to the fact that mounted officers were preparing to charge and that I was in the way. I find it stunning that their justification for their violence towards me is that I was in the way of a violent attack on a crowd of protesters, which included children. Remarkably, the report even contains the suggestion that I threw myself from my wheelchair.

The police are on the back foot, and this report only further dents their credibility as a public institution. Their attempts to criminalise the students demonstrators, just like they did with the Gaza demonstrators after Operation Cast Lead, are destined to fail. It should not be the protesters like me who are on trial, it should be the police who are being charged for crimes they have committed.

Under International Law and America’s War Crimes Act, all U.S. Presidents and the 535 members of the U.S. Congress are “complicitors” in Israel’s long history of genocide, ethnic cleansing, war crimes, and crimes against humanity; and as such are “war criminals” themselves.

Since 1922’s Congressional Adoption and Support of the illegal Balfour “Declaration” gifting Palestine to European Jews as “A”, not “The”, national homeland for Jews, Congress and every Administration have either remained silent or directly and indirectly supported Zionism’s use of terrorism and force to ethnically cleanse Palestine’s indigenous inhabitants and strongly supported the establishment of an illegal nation that was founded by terrorism and lives by terrorism.  By being complicitors in such war crimes they are under International Law guilty of war crimes themselves.

Under the U.N. Charter member states must promote: “Universal respect for, and observance of, human rights and fundamental freedoms for all.” The U.S. and Israel are signatories to the U.N. Charter and as such violate this fundamental principle of the Charter.  Israel is also in violation of the U.S. War Crimes Act which states, “An Act to amend title 18, United States Code, to carry out the international obligations of the United States under the Geneva Conventions to provide criminal penalties for certain war crimes”

Upon signing the law President Clinton said “Today I am pleased to sign into law H.R. 3680, the “War Crimes Act of 1996.”

This bill, in furtherance of the Geneva Conventions of 1949, extends U.S. criminal jurisdiction over certain war crimes and provides the United States with clearer authority to prosecute violations of the laws of war. … It applies to U.S. nationals or members of the Armed Forces who are perpetrators or victims of war crimes. This expansion should address war crimes committed by any person who comes within the jurisdiction of the United States courts, including crimes committed by non-U.S. persons against non-U.S. victims;

Under the Arms Export Control Act all U.S. arms transfers and military aid to any nation are to be used only for defensive, not offensive, purposes.

The Act is intended to prevent weapons from being misused to commit human rights abuses.  The Foreign Assistance Act states that “No assistance may be provided… to the government of any country which engages in a consistent pattern of gross violations of internationally recognized human rights.”

Given that neither Presidents nor Congress have ever enforced these laws, among others, against Israel as it continues its genocidal war crimes and clear violations of Humanitarian and Human Rights law against Palestinian civilians, both the Presidents and every Congress are in violation of the very “War Crimes Act’ they passed into law as well as in violation of International Law.

In a column in the Israeli paper, Haaretz, in an article titled: “U.S. taxpayers are paying for Israel’s West Bank Occupation”, November 16, 2010. Akiva Eldar writes “According to a June 2010 fact sheet on the USAID Internet site, last year American taxpayers funded the paving of 63 kilometers of asphalt roads in the West Bank.” Such payments are a gross violation of International and U.S. Criminal laws and are a clear indication of America’s complicity and guilt in Israel’s commission of “war crimes” against the Palestinians.

In March 2008, Attorney Charles Judson Harwood, Jr. sent an email to the Senate and House Judiciary Committees titled: “Prosecuting U.S. complicity in Israel settlement war crimes” The email contained a “legal memo” attachment.  In it he asks the Committees “To consider, once again, creating an Independent Counsel to prosecute U.S. complicity in this (Israeli Settlements) war crime, specifically, multiple criminal acts, enterprises, and conspiracies, by U.S. nationals and residents, to incite, aid and abet, facilitate, a war crime by Israel:—“To examine the U.S. criminal law of complicity, to ensure, it reaches all complicit acts under international criminal law and applies to all complicit acts in this particular war crime, by U.S. nationals and residents and others, such as members of Congress and their staffs, officials in the State Department (including its Legal Advisers), White House, congressional witnesses, think tank advocates, lobbyists, fund-raisers, contributors, settlement real estate agents, settlement house buyers, settlement house mortgage lenders, editorial/Op-Ed writers, broadcasters, preachers, professors, paid propaganda contractors, Israeli government officials, and such.”

In summary, based on the above and the findings of many legal organizations and experts on domestic and international laws, the U.S. Administration and Congress, among others in the public and private sectors, are guilty as complicitors in Israel’s long standing war crimes and violations of all international treaties, humanitarian and human rights laws.  That is why Israeli governmental and military officials fear traveling to Europe as they may be arrested and prosecuted for “war crimes”

Here are some comments from the war criminal Netanyahu, America’s man of peace, the “generous compromiser” willing to cede “some” land to the Palestinians from the Jewish homeland, biting and insulting the very hands that feed his genocidal country and military.

To me the most shocking statement in Netanyahu’s speech to Congress was his statement that Israel is not a “foreign occupier” in Judea and Samaria (the West Bank) as it is their Jewish homeland in the first place, thus making the Palestinians the foreign occupiers of Jewish land.

A video recording of Netanyahu reveals his contempt for the sovereignty of the U.S. government and people and the ease which he can manipulate both.  In the video, which is from 2001, Netanyahu -speaks frankly in Hebrew about relations with the Clinton White House and the peace process.  He boasts of his knowledge of the U.S. by saying, “I know what America is. America is a thing you can move very easily, move it in the right direction. They won’t get in their way.” He also boasts of manipulating the U.S. in the ongoing peace process “They asked me before the election if I’d honor [the Oslo accords],” he said. “I said I would, but. I’m going to interpret the accords in such a way that would allow me to put an end to this galloping forward to the ’67 Borders.”

In his web site “Tikun Olam” Richard Silverstein posted the article “Bibi in 1989 Supported Palestinian Mass Expulsions”. January 14, 2011 in which he quotes Netanyahu as saying “Israel should have taken advantage of the suppression of the demonstrations in China [Tiananmen Square], when the world’s attention was focused on what was happening in that country, to carry out mass expulsions among the Arabs of the Territories. However, to my regret, they did not support that policy that I proposed, and which I still propose should be implemented.”

According to the Israeli paper, Haaretz, in “Report: Netanyahu says 9/11 terror attacks good for Israel”, April16, 2008, Netanyahu is quoted as saying “We are benefiting from one thing, and that is the attack on the Twin Towers and Pentagon, and the American struggle in Iraq, adding that these events “swung American public opinion in our favor.”

Thus to Netanyahu, the murder of 3000 Americans, requires no sympathy or solidarity with the American people but is simply viewed as a golden opportunity for Israel to once again manipulate an American tragedy to Israel’s benefit.   If he is this heartless to the U.S. imagine how blood thirsty a war criminal he is toward the brutally occupied Palestinian civilian population.

In 1998 President Clinton asked Netanyahu to live up to Israel’s agreement with the Palestinians and withdraw from13% of West Bank land as per the Interim Agreement of 1993.  Netanyahu was furious with Clinton but given his arrogant confidence in the total subjugation of Congress to Israel’s demands he knew he had Clinton at a disadvantage.  (Sounds Obama familiar)

The Chicago Tribune on May 19, 1998 (“Netanyahu Denies Pullback Agreement. Israel’s Leader Scuttles Report of Progress as Albright and Arafat Talk’) reported that:, “Netanyahu felt confident enough about his position during his five-day U.S. tour to threaten privately to aides that he would “BURN” Washington if Clinton tries to lay blame for failure of the talks on Netanyahu’s government”

Prior to his May 1998 meeting with President Clinton in Washington, Netanyahu exclaimed “We do not accept dictates…They cannot dictate to us on issues that only we can decide on.” –Washington Post, “Netanyahu: U.S. Cannot Dictate to Us” May 7, 1998

During Bill Clinton’s second term Newt Gingrich in 1994 became the Republican Speaker of the House.  Given the rift between Clinton and Netanyahu over the 13% withdrawal from occupied land in the West Bank, Speaker Newt Gingrich and a large bipartisan Congressional delegation went to Israel to celebrate its 50th founding anniversary.   In Israel Gingrich told Netanyahu to stand up to Clinton and he can count on the entire Congress to support him to the hilt against the President.

Here’s how a Washington Post article titled, “Netanyahu’s Backers on Capitol Hill Foment Split with White House”, May 23, 1998.  “No Israeli Prime Minister can afford to be indifferent to Israel’s ties to the White House.  But during Netanyahu’s U.S trip last week, even members of his entourage were amazed at the willingness of prominent members of Congress, notably House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-GA), to denounce their own government and express support for the leader of a foreign power that receives $3 billion  in U.S. aid each year.”

It went on to say that: “the legislators are prepared to do everything in their power to ensure that he wins such a confrontation.”

In another paragraph in the same article, we read “Netanyahu has no peer when it comes to understanding the American arena,” said Nahum Barnea, a leading political commentator for the Israeli daily paper.Yedioth Ahronoth, “”He knows that U.S. officials, from (Madeleine) Albright down, are angry yet helpless.  But he also knows he can always beat them because he owns the U.S. Congress”

It’s troubling that Washington D.C.’s institutions from the government, to think tanks, to the media, AIPAC, and other lobbyists, are more Zionist and Jewish than Jews in Israel.   They have ensured that the United States of America only serves Israel, and only Israel, damn the American family.

Here’s a column by Meray Michaeli in the Israeli paper, Haaretz, titled “The Israeli reality that Obama doesn’t understand”, May 23, 2011

“It’s hard to understand a reality in which a prime minister sits and, contrary to all logic and every code of conduct, arrogantly lectures his host, the president of the United States. It’s hard to understand a reality in which a day before their scheduled meeting, a prime minister responds to the speech of the U.S. president, who is about to host him, with an announcement that is as good as spitting in his face.”

With the exception of the great majority of the American people, the entire world knows that Israel and its lobbies run the U.S. Government, and no President or Congressman will dare challenge or swerve from the path AIPAC draws for their subservience.
