Israeli intelligence forces went to East Jerusalem’s town of Silwan on Monday to arrest a Palestinian suspect, only to learn that their target was two years old.
The Zeidani family was caught by surprise when Nazi security forces arrived at their home in Silwan to arrest their son Hamza, the Wadi Hilweh Information Center, a Palestinian NGO, reported on its website.
“After raiding the family’s home, an Israeli intelligence officer demanded to see Hamza, for whom an arrest warrant had been issued,” the NGO reported.
“The family responded by saying that Hamza was only two years old, and that he lived in the house next door if they still wanted to arrest him,” it added. Nazi police eventually left without detaining the child.
“Israeli forces seized three computers from the Zeidani family’s home after arresting their 16-year-old son Mohammed,” the NGO said without clarifying the relationship between Mohammed and Hamza.
It was not possible to obtain immediate comment from Nazi officials on the incident.
Meanwhile in the illegally occupied West Bank, dozens of Palestinian female students suffered temporary asphyxiation on Monday in a school in the town of Deir Abu Mashaal after inhaling tear gas fired by Nazi Occupation Forces.
Nazi forces raided the town and shot teargas at the school without any provocation, leaving dozens of female students suffering temporary asphyxiation.
The girls were treated in the town’s medical center, eyewitnesses said.
“Israeli forces also stopped several young men and checked their identification cards,” one eyewitness told Anadolu news agency.
Deir Abu Mashaal has recently witnessed several raids by the Nazi army, which says it is searching for Palestinians who have thrown rocks at Nazi vehicles.
Tensions have been running high in the occupied West Bank and East Jerusalem, where in recent weeks Nazi forces have shot and killed four Palestinians.
The anger has been further provoked by the relentless rise of Israel’s illegal settlement activities as well as the Nazi authorities’ decision to hold a vote on splitting the al-Aqsa compound, Islam’s third holiest site, despite the existence of a Jewish prayer area at the Western Wall immediately next door.
Nazi occupied East Jerusalem and the West Bank during the 1967 Middle East War. It later annexed the holy city in 1980, claiming it as the capital of the self-proclaimed Jewish state – a move never recognized by the international community.
