Warsaw Ghetto
When the Jews dug tunnels to smuggle food and weapons into the Warsaw Ghetto, it is was an act of justified resistance. However, when the Palestinians dig tunnels to smuggle food, medicines and weapons into Gaza Ghetto it is called terrorism.
Ever since Israel was forced to withdraw from Gaza in 2005, Gaza fell under illegal and inhumane siege imposed by both Israel and Egypt following 2006 Palestinian first held election, in which Hamas has won. Therefore, the tunnels became the life line for 1.8 million Palestinian living in Gaza. Now Egypt and Israel managed to flood and closed the tunnels.
Whether or not it gets reported by the US stream media, Palestinians living in Gaza are being subjected to collective punishment, which is a crime under international law. Even though the Israelis have left Gaza, Gaza is still occupied as its borders are closed and its water and airspace is controlled and get violated daily by Israeli military.
As of last September 26th, Gaza Strip has been under siege for 3020 days. Many Gazans lose their lives daily due to malnutrition and lack of medicine.
Whenever either Russia or Iran violate basic human rights, US government and media alike are quick to speak out and help stop the atrocities, then why they are silent toward Israeli war crimes
