Electronic manufacturer workers grossly mistreated
In the Western world and abroad, you’d now be hard pressed to find a public place where at least a few people aren’t looking at a phone, laptop or tablet screen. These technologies have brought many of us great fortune, but not for those who provide them to us.
Workers, mostly young, in Chinese export factories suffer gravely for their brutal jobs of manufacturing our electronics. Many even come down with diseases from hazardous chemicals by the time they reach full adulthood. This short documentary tells their story.
