A number of citizens in the Ring attacked the correspondents of the MTV Ranin Idris, Zeina Bassil, and photographers Lutfullah Bu Khazen and Elie Rashid and broke the hand of the latter and destroyed the cameras of the mtv, noting that the two teams were covering what gets the bridge from both sides.
“The presence of the security forces in the Ring is very timid and the army is standing away from the scene of the clash. The elderly and women were also brutally beaten and stones were used,” said Ranin Idris.
There have been many calls and contacts for the MTV demanding the Ministry of Interior to intervene immediately and send security reinforcements to the Ring.

The thirteenth day of the popular movements witnessed a great confrontation between pedestrians and demonstrators in various Lebanese regions.
But the problems on the Ring Bridge were remarkable, as pedestrians decided to open roads by force.
Mahalla witnessed the intervention of the security forces to separate the entanglers from each other, after a number of residents of the area broke the tents of the demonstrators who installed it in the place.
One of the people of the region had told the demonstrators: “Hanna people and we are also a people and we became more of them … All Vroukhoen and the text Bkaloa Kevin and Biskoa.”
