Tehran, Feb 8, IRNA – Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei on Sunday advised the negotiators to sign straightforward deal to lift the sanctions and make sure that the other party would not enjoy bargaining chip, something they favor so much.
The Supreme Leader made it clear that the negotiations must target ultimate lifting of the sanctions which have been harmful to Iran.
He said that the negotiations must lead to lift the sanctions, and that the deal must not envisage prolonged process, because, the enemies favor to use next stages of the deal for bargaining and that they embarked on procrastination so far to make Iran suffer more from sanctions.
The Supreme Leader said that the Iranian government will make the sanctions weapon blunt if the western governments refused to lift them.
The enemies attempted to bring the Iranian nation to their knees and humiliate them through their miscalculation, said the Supreme Leader adding that the Iranian nation once again on the 22nd of Bahman marking anniversary victory of the Islamic revolution will prove that they never accept bullying and will respond strongly to any humiliating move.
The Supreme Leader made the remarks receiving commanders and personnel of the Air Force.
The Supreme Leader recalled the ten-day dawn events in 1979 and said that the brave actions of the then commanders and personnel of the Air Force proved the righteousness and attraction of Islamic revolution which shed light in the hearts of the then committed forces to the monarchy.
After triumph of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, world people were inspired to stand against bullying of the US, said the Supreme Leader.
The Supreme Leader said that bullying powers and the US on top from early stages of the Islamic revolution did their best to halt the process of the revolution, but to no avail.
They are not against people or individuals, they are opposed to the nature of the movement which brought resistance, independence and dignity for great Iranian nation, said the Supreme Leader.
They are very irritated for the resistance of the Iranian nation and seek to bring the Iranian nation to their knees and humiliate them which is totally wrong, said Ayatollah Khamenei.
The US miscalculation in dealing with regional developments have brought them more failure and defeats, said the Supreme Leader.
A US official has recently said that Iranians are hand-folded in nuclear talks and have been trapped, the Supreme Leader said as an example of such miscalculations.
Once again the world will witness the mass presence of the Iranian nation which proves who is hand folded, said the Supreme Leader.
The fact is that the US is in trouble, and the on-going developments in the region and the world are good reason for, said the Supreme Leader.
Referring to the defeats of the US in Syria, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Gaza, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Ukraine, the Supreme Leader addressed the Americans that it is you that have been defeated for many years but the Islamic Republic of Iran has developed and its current status is not comparable to the 30 years ago.
Iran has attained significant developments in various scientific, social and international issues said the Supreme Leader adding that the US failed to prevent the country’s success.
The ill-wishers and opponents try to imply that Iran has been trapped in nuclear talks which is totally wrong, said the Supreme Leader.
The Americans say ‘no agreement is much better that a bad one, said the Supreme Leader adding that we also believe that no agreement is better than an agreement which might be against the country’s national interests and might prepare ground for humiliation of great Iranian nation.
The Americans and some European countries have adopted irrational and illogical approach in nuclear talks which run counter to the principles of negotiations, said the Supreme Leader.
‘I agree with good agreement and there is no doubt that the Iranian nation will admit to any deal in line with their dignity and prestige,’ said the Supreme leader.
Dignity and development of Iranian nation in nuclear talks should be heeded as Iranian people never give up to any bullying of the US or others, said Ayatollah Khamenei.
Prior to Supreme Leader’s remarks, the Air Force Commander Brigadier Hassan Shahsafi briefed the commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces about the advances and achievements of the Iranian Air Force in various fields.
