PEACE OIL ZIONIST PROJECT

NOVANEWS

This first cropped up about 4 years age, and re-emerges each Christmas season. “Peace” Oil  is an initiative of The Charities Advisory Trust and its director Hilary Blume. It was heavily sponsored by the Zionist Federation at a time when Zaytoun was making a breakthrough. It as sold as cross-community cooperation, and many charities were unwittingly selling the oil on their Christmas stalls along with seasonal cards etc supplied by Blume’s organisation.

The olives are supplied entirely by Israel and are grown in the Carmel hills. The press is owned by a Druze family and I think the labouring work is done by Palestinians. Most South African businesses employed black south africans as labourers in the Apartheid days.

If you buy this oil you are helping the economy of Israel. All the tax revenue raised is paid to Israel and is used to support the occupation. When pressed to say what “peace” projects the profits were spent on, Hilary Blume could only come up with a tiny project which was a slimmimg club for Arab and Jewish women. This was before they came up with the rather more effective slimming club known as the siege of Gaza.

When asked about the purpose of the project, Hilary Blume said “busy hands cannot throw stones” No mention of busy hands operating helicopter gunships. This is an entirely Zionist project. Not to be confused with American Peace Oil which seems to be a genuine organisation.

If anyone sees “Peace” oil on a stall anywhere, please let people know what it is. The word “Peace” is very potent, and people can easily be misled.

This might be one for the Charity Commissioners sometime
