Arab nationalism pertains to a more secular form of Islam, that was prevalent in Syria, Iraq Tunisia, Libya and Egypt before the upheaval of the last decade. That section contains religious content, which relates to the Syrian Christians and of course the Alawai strand of Islam, which the Syrian President al-Assad subscribes to.
The section on Islamic history tends to contain the entries, which focus on the progression of Islam through the ages and much of the section about colonisation is devoted to Europe and its interventions in the Levant in past centuries. The remaining three section,Lebanon, media power and political comment are somewhat self explanatory, though it should be noted, that all aspects have a substantial political edge.
