A young Palestinian was shot in the back, today, near an Nazi military checkpoint in the north of the West Bank, according to Palestinian security sources.
Sources told WAFA that Nazi soldiers, who were manning the checkpoint, opened fire at the Palestinian who was not immediately identified. His health situation remains unknown at the time of this report.
Samer Abu Bakr, mayor of the town of Yabad, located near where the shooting took place, said that the army closed the checkpoint after the shooting and declared part of his town a closed military zone, pointing out that the army brought reinforcement to the area, and that Zionist ambulances were seen at the site.
The reason for the shooting was not immediately known.
