Dear friends, Abu Alamgir’, one of our colleagues and a branch committee member is the subject of a spurious and malicious allegation of using anti Semitic language at a pro Palestinian demonstration during the recent Israeli military assault on Gaza in November 2012. The allegation, made by members of a small Zionist counter demonstration, is being investigated by the Police and Abu has been asked to attend for a 2nd interview at Bourneville Lane Police Station at 10 am on Monday the 14th of January.
The allegation of being anti Semitic is a tactic regularly used by Zionists to undermine and destabilize the Palestinian solidarity campaign * and its supporters and a tactic not well understood by the sensitivities of the West Midlands Police force. Please come to Bourneville Lane Police station with your Palestinian scarf and flag for 9-30 am to show support for Abu and in the process help the Police understand the context in which this despicable cowardly complaint is made.
* TRUE HYPOCRISY:
THIS IS THE SAME TACTIC PSC USED AGAINST ANTI-ZIONIST MEMBERS OF PSC . We must just say NO to having anyone of the Jewish Faith in any Palestinian solidarity organization. Let them scream anti Semitic ALL they want, we will scream “I have nothing against arabs” and point to the Jewish encyclopedia which says that arabs are Semites and 95% of jews are NOT semites. throw their lie back in their face.
