Mother Agnes-Mariam of the Cross arrived in Tucson, Arizona last night after a 31-hour trip from Beirut, Lebanon, and gave her first radio interview to Mickey Huff and Peter Phillips of the KPFA morning show. In the interview, she described her peacemaking work, responded to critics, and outlined the intentions of her North America tour.

M. Agnes-Mariam will spend two days at the Break Down the Walls conference in Tucson, where she will speak in the plenary and conduct a workshop on Syria. On Nov. 3, she will fly to San Francisco, for five events in Northern California. Details are at http://www.syriasolidaritymovement.org
