The Zio-Nazi Defense Forces intends to seize 50 dunams from the Palestinian village Bitunia “to prevent terror attacks” on Route 443, which will open to Palestinian traffic in 10 weeks. “Given the need for steps to prevent a terror attack, 49.2 dunams of land from the village Bitunia are being expropriated for security needs, to build the Ofer crossing,” states an order signed by GOC Central Command Avi Mizrahi.

Nablus: 4 dead in 24 hours
Zio-Nazi soldiers shot dead two Palestinians near Nablus in the northern West Bank on Sunday. Palestinian security sources identified the victims as 19-year-old farmers Muhammad Faysal and Salah Muhammad Qawariq. Both were from the Awarta village, southeast of Nablus, and were en route to farmland carrying agricultural tools and herbicide, the same sources said. Zio-Nazi’s army said the two attempted to stab a soldier who was on a “routine patrol” near the Awarta military checkpoint.

* Army explanation ‘simply impossible’
Ma’an – Live ammunition killed two 16-year-old Palestinian boys in the northern West Bank [Iraq Burin] over the weekend, despite the Nazi military’s denials, medical officials and human rights advocates said Sunday. Useid Qadus died of a gunshot wound to the head [see X-ray], medics at Nablus’ Rafidiya Hospital told Ma’an, after a military incursion into his village as the army attempted to suppress a demonstration. Muhammad Qadus died of chest wounds sustained in the same incident … Zio-Nazi’s army has maintained that its forces used rubber-coated bullets to disperse a violent riot, following a Ma’an inquiry into allegations that both boys sustained injuries consistent with live ammunition.

* Times watch / James North
There’s a disappointing story in the New York Times today (19 March) about that fatal rocket attack on Israel yesterday. It plays pretty big, on page three. In the first paragraph we are informed that the rocket was fired from “Hamas-controlled” territory. It isn’t till we reach the fifth or sixth paragraph that we are told that “Ansar al-Sunna, a small, fiercely anti-Western jihadist group that challenges Hamas” takes responsibility for the attack. And then, much lower down, it says that Hamas “has made some efforts to prevent rocket fire by smaller militant groups.” So, basically, Israel went in, destroyed the Gaza police force, smashed everything to pieces, and now is holding the Hamas government responsible for everything that happens in every square inch of its territory.

* The doomsday weapon / Uri Avnery
IT IS already a commonplace to say that people who don’t learn from history are condemned to repeat their mistakes. Some 1942 years ago, the Jews in the province called Palaestina launched a revolt against the Roman Empire. In retrospect, this looks like an act of madness. Palestine was a small and insignificant part of the world-wide empire which had just won a crushing victory against the rival power – the Parthian Empire (Persia) – and put down a major rebellion in Britain. What chances could the Jewish revolt have? God knows what was going on in the mind of the “Zealots” … If Obama decides to fight back and activate his doomsday weapon – the accusation that Zionist regime policy puts the lives of American servicemen at risk – this would have catastrophic consequences for Zionism.

* Netanyahu did one thing right in the Jerusalem debacle / Gideon Levy
…Intentionally or not, the prime minister has revealed the lies about Jerusalem and presented things truthfully. Intentionally or not, Netanyahu has put the capital’s occupied parts that the world does not recognize in their proper place: Ramot is the same as Psagot; Neveh Yaakov is the same as Kokhav Yaakov. There is no difference between Yitzhar and French Hill. They are all settlements, including Ramot, which was built in no-man’s-land. Intentional or not, you have to appreciate Netanyahu’s move. A revelation has come forth in Jerusalem: Most of it is a settlement.

* Who’s in favor of a Palestinian intifada? / Zvi Bar’el
How can you find out if someone is a leftist? You ask him whether he thinks an intifada will take place. If he responds, “Yes, no doubt. Pretty soon,” we have a dangerous leftist. If he responds, “That’s silly, a few riots and a Qassam rocket are not an intifada,” we have a proud Jew who believes that the Arabs have already learned their lesson. This is one of the new characteristics of the left-right clash, but not of the real danger that lurks behind the Temple Mount’s thick walls, or beyond the fence surrounding the Gaza Strip.

* Film review: This Palestinian life / Ben White
The strength of This Palestinian Life is hinted at in the title; what [Philip] Rizk explicitly sets out to do is share the personal, everyday stories that do not feature in media coverage of Palestine/Zionist. As Rizk comments in the film, the Palestinians he talks to do not represent ‘the severest cases’, in terms of experiences of Zionist occupation, but are the kind of stories ‘most rarely told’. These are glimpses of lives lived in defiance of Zionist apartheid rule, examples of sumoud, of steadfastness.
