Khalil Al-Hayya, a member of the Political Bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas,” said, “There have been dialogues for a month and we have been exchanging proposals under the auspices of Qatar and Egypt regarding the truce, and that the occupation is evasive, and the closer we get to an agreement, the more we go backwards, and we cannot yet say that an agreement has occurred.”
Al-Hayya added in a press conference, Tuesday evening, in Beirut, “Netanyahu and the Israeli occupation army will not be able to achieve any achievement and we are confident of their defeat, and the enemy has not achieved any field achievement on the ground other than committing war crimes and horrific massacres.”
He pointed out that “the occupation forces have turned Al-Shifa Hospital and the Indonesian Hospital into military barracks, and are working to put the health system in northern Gaza out of service.”
He noted that “the occupation’s announcement of the existence of tunnels in Al-Shifa Hospital is a farce that no one believed, and that the lies and fabrication of theatrics are to justify targeting hospitals and infrastructure.”
He said, “The occupation seeks to push the people of Gaza to move south and then out of the Strip towards Egypt,” stressing that “there will be no displacement or departure, and our people in Gaza are clinging to their land.”
He stressed, “The need for the Rafah crossing to remain open to bring in all the life necessities of our people in Gaza, because the food supplies that enter Gaza do not equal 10% of the Strip’s needs.”
For the 46th day in a row, the Israeli occupation forces, with the support of the United States of America and mercenaries, launch a devastating aggression against Gaza, and their aircraft target buildings, residential homes, hospitals and schools, destroying them above the heads of those inside them, and denying water, food and fuel to the Gaza Strip, which led to the death of more than 13 thousand. 300 Palestinians, including 5,600 children and 3,550 women, while the number of injured reached about 31,000, 75% of whom were children and women.
