NOVANEWS
Is American Exceptionalism a thing of the past, or as many liberal intellectuals would have us believe, something that has existed only in the minds of a select group of American citizens who bought into such conservative propaganda with no basis of truth? You know…those the liberal elite like to label as “Neo-Cons”.
Were the Founding Fathers who created a Representative Democratic Republic known as the United States, among the most brilliant minds of their time, with the foresight to provide a governing system with the flexibility to endure, or were they just a group of privileged rich white guys, many of whom were slave owners, out to line their own pockets at the expense of the masses?
Is the United States an imperialistic super power that has created a vast wealth on the backs of countries with policies that encourage the wealthy class to enrich themselves, and impoverish those of lesser means, through racism and selfishness?
Is America the most wasteful country on earth, with policies that have purposely ravaged the natural resources of a fragile and pristine earth intentionally leaving is its wake, polluted water, air, and a desolation that has paved the way to total destruction through man-made global warming?
I have been writing articles for several years and it appears many of those living in America would be happier living elsewhere as they believe all the world’s ills need to be laid at the doorstep of America’s shores. Are the accusations true that arrogance is the hallmark of American citizens; that we are so out-of-touch with the needs of people around the globe we are unwilling to spend our vast gross domestic product improving life for those who live in poverty and despair?
I say the answers to the above questions are NO. We have do however, have a president who, for the last six years has been preaching that the hard work of America’s middle class entrepreneurs and the success they have achieved, was not really praiseworthy or laudable because “they didn’t build their businesses themselves”. They didn’t toil day and night, many risking everything to reach their goals, and that they seemingly cheated somebody in order to reach the top. This is the rhetoric of those swayed by Karl Marx and his failed economic redistribution theories that have failed every time they have been tried.
Throughout the later part of the 20th century and so far into the 21st century, one would believe America has lost its moral compass, and rightly so. Elected politicians have found they can easily pass laws to enrich themselves, and grant handouts to special interest groups from the public treasury to insure their permanency in office by bribing the electorate with its own money through grandiose social welfare and benefit programs, and we let them get away with it.
Maybe America is waking up with the president’s poll numbers sinking like sack of concrete and Congressional approval racing it to the bottom of the ocean. I am convinced that we the people have had enough. Enough of the lies. Enough of the rewriting of history perpetrated by those liberal progressives wanting to change America into some sort of liberal-Marxist utopia that has been discredited by its failures throughout history.
The falsehoods that they preach and the misrepresentation they teach our children in schools simply doesn’t wash in the face of the real evidence. Fortunately or unfortunately for some, depending where you stand….as the saying goes…”All things must come to an end”, and with the country indebted to the tune of nearly $18 trillion long surpassing the country’s entire Gross Domestic Product of 2012, We the People have had enough.
We will no longer allow Washington DC to steal the dreams and future of our children and grandchildren who will be taxed to death to pay for the self-aggrandizement of our elected government officials and their redistribution schemes which are making those on lower rungs of the economic ladder totally dependent on government handouts. Their actions are unconstitutional, border on criminal negligence, and are downright unethical.
In this past decade…We have witnessed a near-complete transformation of America, which was has gone from self-reliance, creativity, and exceptionalism, to a country where today we have more people living off the government dole than actually working at full-time jobs.
This was predictable however, when the country knowingly elected the current president who ran on a single mantra of CHANGE, and people followed along like cattle on the path to slaughter, chanting “Yes we can” like little robots. It is obvious most of today’s citizens missed George Orwell’s movie or didn’t read the book, 1984. Written in 1949, Orwell graphically depicts what Obama’s Marxist Utopia America would look like.
Just how far off was Orwell? We have watched our great nation slip into the highest unemployment since the Great Depression; we see America’s global leadership being purposely diminished around the world; we are witnessing the workforce being forced into part-time employment; and have experienced hundreds of new rules, regulations and taxes being forced upon our small business employers, while watching the Administration reward bloated and corrupt crony capitalist with bailout funds and sweetheart low-interest loans in exchange for millions upon millions of dollars in campaign contributions. So I would say the book, 1984, was right on the money as we witness the outcomes of Mr. Obama’s policies. Does anyone feel free anymore?
We have seen the collapse of the housing market because of the mortgage policies implemented by the Democratically controlled Congress where no-one could be denied the opportunity to buy a home regardless of their credit history or if they even had the means to make the payments; and we’ve seen a complete disruption of our healthcare system because a thirst of Democrats in Congress to totally control all of us by taking over one-sixth of the entire U.S. economy. These are policies one would expect in a Fascist or Marxist led country, not in America, Land of the Free and Home of the Brave.
In my new book, Down on Main Street Searching for American.
Exceptionalism (see:www.downonmainstreet.net), I discuss the story of exceptional Americans. It is the first in a series of books that will document American spirit and greatness from the Founding Fathers to the voter revolution that is now in the making as the country perilously teeters on the brink of fiscal collapse. Like all great civilizations of the past, though as I have stated, many pin-headed intellectuals try to convince us we have never been great, collapse never comes from some nefarious or tyrannical power. Great civilizations always collapse from within.
If you are shocked with schools that no longer teach the history of America’s greatness and the principals of free-market capitalism which has proven to be the only economic system that has ever lifted whole populations out of poverty, you are not alone. We see that the liberal progressive policies which follow the Marist-Leninist theories have wrecked havoc on our country, put in place an economic model that is wiping out the middle class, seen an average devaluation of $5000 in family wealth; created the highest percentage of unemployed people than at any time in history; mercilessly forced more than 50% of the population into government hand-out programs, and is destroying the fabric of our society.
More than 58% of the country’s population rejects the policies of the Obama Presidency and a whopping 83% believe Congress is as much to blame. Those who believe America is on the right path do not believe in the self-responsibility which one must have to succeed in a country with so much opportunity. They wrongfully see themselves as victims of an oppressing society, and willfully accept food stamps and other government largess which destroys their self-esteem and can only enslave them and insure future generations of impoverishment.
I believe the majority of Americans have finally had enough of the politically-correct, don’t-be-judgmental, liberal-progressive political nonsense that has been stuffed down our throats by the political elite. The theme of class-envy can only lead to mediocrity for everyone except the ruling class, and reinforces the words of Winston Churchill … “You don’t make the poor richer by making the rich poorer.”
The worn-out phases, “social justice” and “income equality”, are impossible to legislate. We can only be guaranteed an equal opportunity to succeed.
More than 10,000 years of civilization has gone by and the policies of collectivism have never proven to workdespite efforts every century that inevitably lead to wars, misery, more poverty, and in the long run can only be held together at the point of a gun… Darwin was correct in his theory of survival of the fittest, and human nature will always guarantee there are those who will not settle for the mediocrity of the redistribution policies of Marxist style governments.
There will always be those who disagree with me on my take but even the most ardent supporters of Obama’s Marxist style leadership cannot be so stupid as to not see something has really gone amiss in their pipe-dream vision of equal outcomes for all. Marxism and its government centrally-planned ideology will always be doomed for failure by the free-spirit of mankind.
