NOVANEWS

The enemies of Syria are devoting major resources to false flags, black ops, misinformation and disinformation about Syria. As a result, Syria is possibly the most misunderstood crisis in the world by those who rely on the western media.
But those who follow truth seekers like Sharmine Narwani, Tim Anderson, Jeremy Salt, Eva Bartlett, Vanessa Beeley, Robert Parry, Gareth Porter, Rick Sterling, Ken Stone, Paul Larudee and others know better. These and other writers are published in a dozen online publications that are exposing the truth to the English speaking public.
But none of these sites Is devoted exclusively to Syria, and there is no single source to which someone can be directed in order to get this information. The Syria Solidarity Movement wants to be that source. We want to gather links and articles to our website and keep the site updated with the latest news and analysis.
You can help with this and other efforts to spread the truth and mobilize support. Here’s how:
- We need a webmaster that will do this kind of work. S/he will be someone who already reads widely on this subject and has strong web skills. We might consider more than one person to share the work. Do you know someone? Please refer your recommendations.
- We also need someone to redesign and reorganize our website. It could be the same person, but not necessarily. We want a facility that is attractive, searchable and user friendly.
You have probably heard about the war-loving anti-Syria media sensation known as the White Helmets. The Syria Solidarity Movement has worked hard to expose the truth about this organization through TWO petitions.
- Our petition to DENY the Nobel Peace Prize to the White Helmets has over 3300 signatures but was recently shut down by Change.org – supposedly because it “violates community standards”. We are seeking its immediate restoration, but would welcome your help and suggestions.
- We have a separate petition to the Right Livelihood Foundation to RETRACT the award they gave to the White Helmets. Please sign the petition here: https://www.change.org/

Finally, if you are able to help with the funding of these efforts and especially with the cost of website expertise, please send your donations here. This is going to significantly increase our costs, but with your help we will keep it going.
Many thanks for your continued support.
