NOVANEWS
1. Let’s begin with our new series “Assholes in Israel.” This week our stars are Eliot Engel (Likud, NY) and Ed Royce (Shas, California). Here they are outed by Israel’s Ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro.
Royce doesn’t mention the trip on his own website, but he did put out one tweet on it. Engel puked up a number of tweets but I can’t seem to find any mention on Engel’s website.
Here is a disgusting video with these two cretins meeting with Obama’s boss. In fact, the link is to Obama’s boss’s youtube channel, but I digress.
2. Why am I not surprised to see that no one seems to be following up on the very interesting text message exchanges between Sotloff and Vandyke that Syriangirlpartisan writes about here? Also, I find this exchange between the two (taken from her article) to be most interesting.
3. Based on the lead article in today’s Jerusalem Washington New York Times Post It is hard to conclude anything other than that local, state and federal law enforcement agencies exist largely to prey upon the populace.
The chief perps the Post discusses are companies called “Black Asphalt,” “Desert Snow”, and the 4:20 Group and the Post mentions a character named Joe David quite a bit. He’s the founder of Black Asphalt and Desert Snow – which are basically the same thing. It also mentions one his chief partners in crime, David Frye.
These two have been leading the way in stealing cash from people as they drive down US highways and they also train state and local law enforcement to do the same thing and this is all done with the blessings and even the encouragement of the feds.
The Post article managed to fail to note one of Joe David’s illegal exploits which is discussed here and here. It seems that David got a contract with a prosecutor in Oklahoma that allowed David’s evil company to train cops and non-cops in how to engage quite literally in highway robbery and then these cops and non-cops would then give David’s company 10 percent of their take. Nice work if you can get it. Here’s an interesting quote from the story. Note to Shas Party members, red highlights are done by this week’s very extra special guest editor, Haifa Wehbe.
“In early July, the program was quickly halted after a Caddo County Special Judge criticized the program. Judge David A. Stephens discovered that Desert Snow’s Joe David, who is not a state-certified law enforcement agent, had himself conducted a traffic stop, pulling over and questioning a pregnant woman. Stephens called the act “shocking,” saying that if David ever pulled someone over again, he “hope[d] to see [him] soon, wearing orange”…which is of course the color worn by Caddo County jail inmates.”
On, and this article notes that David, when he pulled over that pregnant women on the highway while having no license to do so, was wielding a weapon and “may” have had a shirt that had “Police” written on it. He should have been charged with impersonating a police officer.
“In court, Desert Snow founder Joe David testified that he pulled over a driver despite not having a state license allowing him to do so. David said he had a gun and may have been wearing a shirt that read “POLICE” in large lettering across his shoulder blades. He questioned the driver, a pregnant woman, by himself before her case was later dismissed. “
The 4:20 Group is intriguing because it’s website is restricted only to people who can prove they have officially issued costumes that allow them to arrest people.
By the way, all this shit first began with the “war on drugs” and then came the “war on terror” to justify it even more.
4. Well it’s video time.
First, here’s Israel’s ambassador to Israel, Dan Shapiro, expressing condolences for Ariel Sharon. It’s less than a minute long, so even Shas Party members can watch it.
And see more of how your tax dollars are wasted as Danny boy bleats on about our “commitment” to Israel’s security.
And now we have a great instructional video by Amer Zahr who will teach you how to dance like Mark Glenn.
