I spoke body most prominent in the world for the defense of journalists and their rights for a lawsuit filed by Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan against Bulent Kenesh editor in chief of the newspaper “Today’s Zaman” which published in English, and thus joins the list of international groups, which refers to the rise in intimidation of journalists by the authorities in Turkey.
Seventh DayThe newspaper “Zaman” Turkey on Sunday for the Committee to Protect Journalists, based in New York City of America, said that the lawsuit filed against Erdogan Kenesh tweet came after the latter claimed the prime minister as “degrading and exceeded the limits of criticism”.
The newspaper reported that Erdogan’s lawyers claim that the Kenesh targeting the prime minister in Ngredath on the social networking site “Twitter” tweets, especially one in which he said Kenesh “and now they (the government) want to destroy our (media).
The Commission explained that this is not the first time that it is suing the Kenesh, In March 2014, Erdogan offered to file a lawsuit against him after he claimed that the face of insults to the Prime Minister on his Twitter site.
