CVE. Probably most of you have never heard of it. It stands for “Countering Violent Extremism” but in practice it means “Fucking with Muslims for Money.” It’s become quite an industry – sort of main stream Islamophobia-light – and it is filled with more carpetbaggers in and outside of government – many of them move seamlessly between government jobs and jobs for universities or corporations – per square foot than was Atlanta in 1866. The CVE world is abuzz this week.
Let me ask you something:
What would an organization whose board members include Richard Allen (of Iran-Contra fame), Cofer Black (who somehow managed to fuck up stopping the 9/11 attacks and then did such great work with Blackwater), Edwin Meese III (yes, that Edwin Meese, of Wedtech and also of Iran-Contra fame), Michael Chertoff (the guy who loves to have your genitalia radiated at airports, co-authored the Patriot Act and succeeded Tom Ridge as head of Fatherland Security) and big pro-Israel investor Tom Ridge (and the first head of Fatherland Security) be expected to do? Well, maybe that’s an unfair question, because there are so many horrible choices they could make and since these guys probably don’t get to into the weeds anyway. But still. Well, that organization has just hired Joseph Leonard Cohen’s partner in crime, Jesse Morton, (pictured above) to join its research staff at George Washington University’s Center for Cyber and Homeland Security. Btw, for those who are unaware, Cyber is another big thing in government and the private sector at present. The feds and the corporations are psycho for cyber these days as they drain your pockets in the name of “Homeland Security.” If you see “Cyber” in some outfit’s title, beware. But I digress.
Morton is now the darling of the media. This interview with the CBC is a perfect example.
Ibrahim Cooper’s quote above was about Morton and his nutty “Revolution Muslim” website which appealed to about 12.3 people on the planet but which nonetheless managed to get considerable attention from CNN and of course from CVE specialists while making Muslims look absolutely bat shit crazy. One of those CVE dudes who actually did a study of the website is now Morton’s boss.
Cooper may be wrong regarding what he implied, but good grief. And now one of these Muslim Revolution guys is at GW, having gone from making Islam look ridiculous from the inside to now financially benefitting off his past while sustaining Islamophobia-light’s obsession with “radicalization.” Now according to this article he won’t be teaching but will be doing “research.” His page on the Cyber thingy’s website is worth a look at.
More on this stuff at a later date. Please play around on the Cyber thingy’s website and look at who is there. There is definitely money to be made if you believe in the religion of radicalization – radicalization which pretty much applies only to Muslims. Funny how that is.
2. In the meantime, Donald Trump, Islamophobe par excellence, continues to suck up to Israel. He is fresh from a 25K per plate dinner fund raiser run by an Islamofascist named Saul Fox. According to what is most likely the target of every intelligence agency on the planet, The Intercept:

“Fox is the donor behind Children of Israel LLC, whose $884,000 in contributions has made it the second-most generous “ghost corporation” in the 2016 cycle. This election has seen a surge in “ghost corporations,” the term used for businesses that appear to exist solely to shield the identity of individuals who want to put money into the U.S. political process.”
Saul loves Israel and he is really into archeology. Here is his dedication speech for the Archeological Garden of Knesset. Note the pronouns.
“My family feels extraordinarily fortunate to have been asked by the Israel Antiquities Authority to assist in a small way with the construction of this magnificent archeological garden, truly an un-walled museum, exemplifying the history of the land of Israel, here in the very midst of Jerusalem, our sacred ancient capital and the holiest of cities, affixed to the Knesset the most significant Jewish edifice of our era where we, the children of Israel, having returned from compelled dispersion to liberate and resettle the Promised Land and having reestablished Israel as a nation among the nations, through prodigious and arduous efforts and sacrifice, democratically and righteously govern our own affairs.”
But I digress.
Saul is loaded, he’s hard-core for Israel, considers himself one of the “children of Israel,” created a ghost corporation called Children of Israel, LLC and he is backing Trump – the guy who used to say he didn’t need money from rich Jews.
In the meantime Trump has quite a campaign team in Israel. It turns out that there are between 200,000 and 300,000 Jewish votes there that he is trying to get and according to this article about 70 per cent of them vote center and right, so they might be helpful in making Trump the next IVPFAA. And his campaign team seems to be entirely composed of right wingers.
One of them is: “Tzvika Brot, the newly appointed director of the Republican Party campaign team in Israel, is a former journalist with close ties to the right-wing Likud party.”
But of course. And I love this:
“Because many American citizens live in the Jewish settlements, he (Brot) said, the upcoming opening of the Trump campaign office in Ginot Shomron would be an important event. “We will have a special guest there,” he promised. “I can’t say who it will be, but it won’t be Trump.”
Funny how it is that “many American citizens” live in illegal settlements. I’ve seen these people running around with their machine guns and intimidating the hell out of the local Palestinian population.
Ginot Shomron is in the West Bank. It is an illegal Israeli settlement. The Trump campaign is sending someone to an illegal settlement to get Americans who are in violation of international law to rally behind Trump and to vote for him. Seems to me that the whole lot of them should be arrested and sent to the ICC where they can compare notes with Hillary, but I digress.
It’s a goddamn shame that GWU Cyber and Homeland Security seems to have no interest in Countering Violent Jewish Extremism. But Trump and the Republicans (and no doubt Hillary and the Dems) want that violent Jewish extremist vote.
3. Okay, it’s video time.
Let’s start off with Haifa. It’s in London, wonder if Yasir al-Habib was there. ?
This second video is worth sitting back and listening to. Really. I’ve just come across this person’s youtube videos – he even has one that deals in part with Revolution Muslim and also Adam Gadahn that is worth a listen as well. In the video below he talks about two assholes who really do need to be counter radicalized.
