Corona Virus Bcc Help

Posted by: Sammi Ibrahem,Sr

BCC cares about its citizens and provides the essential services to keep the city moving. BCC listens to what the public need.
Emergency Community Response Hub: The council has launched an emergency community response hub to provide support to our most vulnera-ble citizens.
The service will prioritise those in critical need who have received a letter from NHS England stating they are in a priority group or those that are self-isolating for shorter periods but are unable to rely on family or friends for adequate practical support.

This may be in relation to:

 Emergency food supplies
 Social contact

Log requests online here or phone 0121 303 1116, open Monday – Friday, 9am to 5pm.

Meals and food support: There are a number of ways food is getting to vulnerable people, through the council’s partnership with BVSC. The city council has been distributing food parcels to residents who are clinically vulnerable* and not able to get help from elsewhere
