Iran’s supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei
Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei said in Tehran on Sunday that the humanitarian tragedy perpetrated in Yemen and the Gaza and Lebanon are blatant violation of the international law and conventions.
Ayatollah Khamenei made the remarks in a meeting with a group of military officers on the Army Day.
‘Iran never violated the war laws, but, emerged victorious. Iran never used non-conventional weapons or methods in hostility,’ the Commander-in-chief of the Armed Forces said in reference to eight-year US-backed Iraqi hostility.
‘Such progress and potentials have been obtained under pressure and unprecedented sanctions as well as lack of resources, which are very extraordinary job and should continue hastily.’
The Supreme Leader said contrary to the bullying powers, the Islamic Republic of Iran considers security as the biggest divine blessing and defends its and others’ security.
