It’s curious to consider; many nations around the globe are slowly but surely trying to examine their past, the complicity, the torture and the pain. And yet many Western nations, including America and Australia, rarely if ever seriously look back at the failed horrors and their support for dictators in every corner of the globe. We are yet to reach maturity.
