Dozens of civilians were killed following the Zio-NATO puppets deadly attack on al-Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp in Southern Damascus.
Heavy clashes between the Syrian Army and the terrorists, who staged an all-out invasion of the camp on Sunday, claimed the lives of 40 people, and al-Basel hospital was closed due to its inability to give service to the large numbers of the people wounded during the terrorists’ attack.
According to FNA dispatches, calm and tranquility has been relatively restored to the refugee camp on Monday and security conditions have somehow come back to normal in the area.
Speaking to FNA, a local source rejected news reports that the Syrian Army’s air force has targeted Abdul Qader Al-Hosseini mosque near the refugee camp, and said the forces only attacked the armed groups who wanted to move towards al-Yarmouk from al-Tazamon district.
He further added that the groups had thrown several grenades before they entered al-Yarmouk camp and one of the grenades hit the mosque which led to killing and injury of the citizens and inflicted some damage on in the mosque.
Also a leader of the Syrian popular committees told FNA that the terrorists who attacked the camp were members of al-Nusrat Front terrorists, affiliated to the al-Qaeda.
The terrorists executed several Syrian citizens in streets on Sunday as they targeted the camp.
Terrorists have tried hard in the last several days to make Syrian cities unsafe for citizens, but the army has purged them from most neighborhoods and districts, killed tens of them and arrested many others.
Syria has been experiencing unrest since March 2011 with organized attacks by well-armed gangs against Syrian police forces and border guards being reported across the country.
Hundreds of people, including members of the security forces, have been killed, when some protest rallies turned into armed clashes.
The government blames outlaws, saboteurs, and armed terrorist groups for the deaths, stressing that the unrest is being orchestrated from abroad.
