Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei says signs of decadence are clearly evident in the fabric of the Western civilization.
The Western civilization and various stages of its establishment, climax and finally the emergence of signs of decay at the present juncture, provide an objective example for the study of flaws and shortcomings of a civilization, Ayatollah Khamenei said in a meeting with a group of scholars and academic elite on Monday.
“The Western civilization has its roots in humanism with a view to political power and then a capital-based perspective, and after its heyday, the signs of decay and decadence have currently come to the surface,” the Leader added.
Ayatollah Khamenei noted that sexual decadence and prevalence of moral and sexual depravity are the most important signs of the collapse of the Western civilization.
The Leader also mentioned high frequency of destructive wars in Europe over the past centuries as a major problem with the Western civilization.
“The emergence of [so many] problems and decadence in the Western civilization is due to the absence of spirituality [in the Western society],” the Leader pointed out.

Human and spiritual values have no value in a US,Israeli dominated materialistic world-view. Their view considers the Zionist-dominated multinational finance/oil/arms-industry as the most valuable, because they are controlling almost all global wealth by plundering everything from everybody. This systemic injustice is the root cause of the moral and financial collapse of the west too. Justice is Divine!. The tragedy is that 300 millions Americans,65 millions British and many other Westerners have become slaves of AIPAC, the Israeli Lobby in the USA. The Israeli Lobby controls the whole establishment of the USA and many countries in the West, which have lost their independence. They are permeated with materialism and greed, which destroy human beings. And the worst of all is that people are so brainwashed that they do not understand how sick the civilisation is.

Sadly, I think that the Leader is correct. The west is totally corrupt and bankrupt, it is dishonest and two faced, it has thrown away justice and human rights and is totally discredited. Just look at the invented situation in Syria as a perfect example!!!

the leader of the islamic revolution is spot on, i believe there is no civilization in the west. this level of decadence is currently eating up its way into the culture of most african countries. we in uganda therefore say no to homosexuality.

He is so right. Popular culture in america is rotten to the core, as far as any decent or proper mannerisms are concerned. Young girls are on birth control, young boys are unaccountable, the media pushes gay agenda, feminism, and portrays dads (fathers) as dumb. The american media is always talking about the queen of england like it is our queen, and she certainly is NOT. But the queen actually Knights people who bring degenerative culture to the youth through rock and roll music. Much peace to you all! May we see an end to this ugly bantering from u.s soon.
