PSC and the Middle East monitor have organised a meeting with three Palestinian members of the Israeli Knesset to discuss the challenges of living in Israel .
Find out about the work that Palestinian Knesset members are carrying out to represent their electorate, despite the overwhelming difficulties they face on a daily basis.
The meeting will be a unique opportunity to hear about the serious attacks on the democratic rights of Palestinian citizens of Israel , following the decision last week to remove parliamentary privileges of Haneen Zoubi for her participation in the flotilla taking humanitarian aid to Gaza .
Jeremy Corbyn MP has tabled an early day motion stating ‘ That this House is concerned that Israeli Knesset member Haneen Zoubi has had a number of her parliamentary privileges withdrawn because she participated in the Freedom Flotilla which attempted to take aid to Gaza in May 2010; believes that the siege of Gaza is wrong; and applauds Haneen Zoubi for her courage in exposing this.
