Together, we are deciding what 38 Degrees does next. Thousands of us have shared our ideas and commented on each others’ suggestions. We’ve analysed all the suggestions and now it’s time to vote to decide what we focus on. Please take 2 minutes to vote now: http://www.38degrees.org.uk/what-next-vote-now Votes cast over the next few days will shape what we do together over the next few months. We know that this is a decision that matters – just look at what a difference it made when we decided to work together to save England’s forests!
So, what should we put at the top of the list? Saving the NHS from cuts and privatisation? Stopping cuts to disability living allowance? Continuing the fight to protect our woodlands? Demanding tougher action on bankers bonuses and tax dodging? Or something else? It’s your choice – click here to see the most popular suggestions and to vote now: http://www.38degrees.org.uk/what-next-vote-now
38 Degrees is all about thousands of us working together. That includes deciding together what we work on. We’ve chosen lots of successful 38 Degrees campaigns in this way. We’vesaved England’s forests, stopped a giant cow factory farm being built in Lincolnshire; prevented Donald Trump from evicting locals from their homes to make way for a golf course; pushed the government to promise tougher rules on secret lobbying by big business and we persuaded London Mayor Boris Johnson to fund rape crisis centres.
So what should be our big campaigns? Saving libraries? Murdoch’s takeover of BSkyB? Human trafficking? Stopping factory farming? We can do more than one thing at a time – but we need to decide together what our priorities are. Thanks for being involved,
David, Hannah, Johnny, and the 38 Degrees team
PS: There are now over half a million of us involved in 38 Degrees – all across the UK! When we work together, we’re powerful. So please help decide what we work on together next: http://www.38degrees.org.uk/what-next-vote-now
