NOVANEWS

Silwan, JerusalemA state of sadness and pain prevailed over the family of Mahayneh-Manasra after the Martyrdom of one of their children and the injury of another under the pretext of carrying out a stabbing attack against Nazi Jewish settlers in the illegal Nazi settlement of Pisgat Zi’ev that is established on the lands of Beit Hanina north of Jerusalem.Mahayneh family explained to Wadi Hilweh Information Center that the 15-year old Martyr Hasan Khaled Mahayneh-Manasra is a student in 10th grade in “Ibn Khaldoun” School and the 13-year old Ahmad Saleh Mahayneh-Manasra who was injured is an 8thgrade student in “New Generation” School. They both came back from their schools and went to the shopping mall near their house in the settlement of Pisgat Zi’ev. The Martyr wanted to buy a “video-game disc” while Ahmad wanted to buy a “pigeon”.
The family added that Hasan asked his mother, what did you cook? I am hungry….I will be right back. Hasan left and never came back to eat. He left his family at a loss with many questions they have but haven’t found answers for.
Shooting…
The Martyr was shot and immediately passed away. His father was called to Al-Maskobyeh police for interrogation and to identify the body of his son- as explained by the father.
Deliberate run-over…
The injured Ahmad is in stable condition according to the occupation’s intelligence. He was deliberately run over by the light rail. Despite the injury and bleeding, Nazi Jewish settlers and police personnel insulted him and asked to kill him. Paramedics were present in the area but did not provide him with the necessary first-aid- was clearly shown in the videos.
Searching the houses of Mahayneh-Manasra family
Large Nazi forces including masked Special Forces raided the house of Mahayneh-Manasra family (more than 10 houses) in Beit Hanina and detained the family members in the family’s hall. They were prevented from moving and the forces imposed a total siege on the houses and prevented anybody from entering or leaving.
Call for interrogation
Nazi occupation forces called the mother of the Martyr Hasan and the parents of the injured Ahmad for interrogation.
Following an order from the Chief of Police, the arrest of the injured Ahmad Mahayneh-Manasra was extended for 24 hours.
