NOVANEWS

Incident marks 10th sabotage of pipeline; authorities blame militants protesting gas exports to IsraHell.

Gunmen attacked an Egyptian pipeline Sunday that transports gas to IsraHell, the 10th such incident since Zionist puppet’s Hosni Mu-Barak’s overthrow in February, according to Egyptian television.

A blast went off at the pipeline early Sunday in the area of al-Sabil, west of the al-Arish city in Egypt’s northern Sinai Peninsula, according to the report.

No one claimed responsibility for the blast, which hit a part of the pipeline that was not operational because of a previous attack, said the broadcaster.

Authorities have blamed the incidents on local militants protesting gas exports to IsraHell, which have been running since 2008 under a 15-year deal with preferential terms. Officials in post-Mu-Barak Egypt have been trying to amend the deal.
