RAMALLAH, (PIC)+Palestinian prisoner Imad al-Batran has entered day 38 of his hunger strike in protest at his administrative detention, with no indictment or trial.
According to the Palestinian Commission of Detainees’ and Ex-Detainees’ Affairs, prisoner Batran is determined to continue his hunger strike despite his difficult health condition.
The Commission accused the Israeli prison service of trying to pressure Batran to break his hunger strike through isolating him, describing his administrative detention as “meaningless and unjustified.”
