Pride Cometh Before A Fall

I really owe a debt of gratitude to some of my family members, for their acute and studied insight, on why America is great.
So great, that we are above reproach and criticism today from citizens like me and others, when it comes to critiquing and criticizing foreign policy, domestic policy, treatment of its citizens, living standards (declining).
To summarize their ethos, We should be grateful for our benevolent politicians and business leaders, become blind nationalists, profess our superiority to the world, and our problems will be inconsequential while chanting….’USA, USA’ over anyone who dares question our course or faults. .
I’ve been told that if I don’t love my country, maybe I should leave.
An interesting proposition that I thank them for, considering that 35% of the purchasing power of the US dollar has permanently eroded, just since 2000 GW Bush era.
I can say that I am thankful our own Founding Fathers did not see fit to leave when told by those representing the status quo. And that if they didn’t love America, they should also have left, as they only represented only 3% of the US Populace, and of course waged a bloody and long battle with England, to foster real change as they saw fit, and when England came for their arms.
I was told in our conversation that the Dow Jones is breaking new highs, and this points to unmitigated economic strength, even though its obvious to most, that when the Federal Reserve prints enough money ( I mean fiat paper), something’s going to go up. Some People don’t understand that its not our stock market gaining value, it is our money that is losing value, as The last time the Dow Jones average was at 14,000, gold was at $700 an ounce. Gold is now $1600 an ounce. Is this a ‘real high’ or debasement of our currency?
How many unsustainable bubbles does the Fed have to blow, before some of you buy a clue?
Don’t you realize that each bubble becomes more dangerous to the actual health of the economy?
Production is sound economic wealth. Printing paper ad infinitum, is not.
Funneling money to corporations and banks, stealing money from the poor and the middle class, printing huge amounts of money causing inflation, is not generosity, nor is it American.
I digress.
Some of the freedoms I’m most grateful for are Israeli Ben Gurion airport style TSA molestation tactics performed on our families at the airports (young and old alike), Spying on every Americans keystrokes and phone calls by the NSA and Amdocs, The 38% income taxes imposed on the wealthiest Americans, and all ‘voluntary’ taxes, codes, statutes, The NDAA and Patriot Acts, The DHS Checkpoints, The overseas drone assassinations including entire weddings parties, and our Declining Living Standards, to name a few. Surely we are the better for the personal freedoms for these sacrifices, no?.
I’m told time and again that we have it pretty good here in America, and I suppose this is true.
Those on the Titanic ship also had it pretty good when they departed from Belfast Ireland too, before tragedy was befallen on them, whether by sheer bad luck or something more insidious. Some would suggest the phrase “HAD it pretty good” is more appropriate, as the past tense is a more accurate term for us in the present day America, unless we become advocates for Change. Drastic, Jeffersonian, change.
What is real change, you ask?
It is pursuing and enacting Justice.
It is supporting the indictments and arrests for the Bankers that caused this decline in our way of life and economy, literally stealing Trillions of dollars from the public treasury, enough so that every American’s mortgage could have been paid off (Want to talk about a real economic stimulus!!) Rather than paying bonuses to themselves and covering their own losses.
It is Repudiating the debt, another step in the right direction following the Icelandic model.
It is prosecuting Judiciary officals for their conspiracy to obstruct justice for said economic crimes against the US Populace, as not 1 Banker has yet been jailed, in comparison to 800 Banker thieves during the Savings and Loan Scandal.
It is Abolishing and Indicting members of the Federal Reserve, who have destroyed the value of OUR currency since its inception in 1913, and devalued OUR dollar 95% in that time.
It is prosecuting those that Lied us into War, which has now expanded into 5 other nations (Libya, Syria, Pakistan, Yemen, Mali), jeopardizing our good standing in the world community and coffers-May I remind you all tht America is BROKE!!
It is insisting upon a new 911 commission, then indicting the perpetrators of 911, bringing them to justice, or rather bringing justice to America.
It is ending all foreign aid to Israel, the largest recipient of US Foreign aid, and demanding justice for the USS Liberty attack, Spying and other acts of treason against the USA.
It is fostering and promoting a sensibility of humbleness, of a charious nature, humility and kindness, now anathema to so many Americans infected with this disease (Judeo Anglo in origin), of having become oblivious and woefully blind to the serious harm we are causing to others, whether creating 5 million Orphans in Iraq, countless millions of war refugees, or even conducting these invasions without a formal Congressional declaration a war, as directed by our Constitution.
Is America great for the 22 Million unemployed, especially those in manufacturing sector 33% of all manufacturing jobs were lost during the Bush era, while multi national corporations downsized (or rightsized if youre corporate apologist) while reporting record profits, families struggling to make ends meet with rapid rates of inflation (Silent Tax) with the costs of goods and living, increasing annually with real double digit inflation (John Williams Shadowstats).?
I think not. .
Is it great that our Social programs like Medicare and Social Security are essentially broke?
That our way of life has been subsidized by printing toxic and criminally fraudulent CDOs and MBS instruments and debt, bundled and sold to China, Europe and Saudi, but is now being strictly monetized, as buyers are balk at the Faith and Credit of the USA?
Even those working for one of the largest employers in existence today, Defense Sector at The Pentagon, now are facing job and income loss with sequesters. And All this time, I thought war was good for the economy? As a banker or contractor, I would salivate when that debt with interest, arrives. No, I think not.
To be fair, I diligently researched records to find areas where America is a leader.
Of 185 nations, we have fallen precipitously and are 27th in Math, 22nd in Science, 49th in life expectancy, 4th in Exports, 33rd most Free Press and Media, 3rd in Median Household income, 8th in literacy, 13 in Best Quality of Life which appeared in Forbes.
800,000 Millionaires disappeared from the USA in 2007 alone, all the while millionaires overseas increased dramatically
I did uncover a few areas where America is still a leader:
defense spending, incarceration rates, killing civilians this century outside our own borders, and children slaughtered in clinics,
(I mean aborted) in the ‘Planned Parenthood’ Judeo clinics to be chopped and sold for parts. Big business by the way. Too bad I wasn’t smart enough to pass my MCATs and enter this lucrative field.
Yes indeed, according to the naysayers , there is no need for any introspection, acknowledgement of our shortcomings, contrition, repentance or reparations for our transgressions, America is simply great.
I believe that we once were, and can be again.
But not for simply saying it in the face of facts, which many distance ourselves from like a leper colony. Telling yourself that we are great, loudly and often enough, you may just believe it. But some beliefs are easily shattered when the truth hits you like a rock in the head, after it is thrown.
The parallels between the Collapsed Roman Empire and our own are striking ie An overextended military, an inflated currency, a divided multicultural populace rather than a cohesive one. Hopefully, this will serve as a poignant and critical wakeup call.
A Christian humbleness, humility, peaceloving ethos are all classic historic American values that made us loved and the beacon of light in the world, but have been substituted entirely with a Judaic smugness, arrogance, war mongering, and irritating, bellicose pompousness in the last 100 or so years, that threaten our own status in the world and entire way of life.
America, The Parable of The Good Samaritan is worth rereading and practicing.
And Please America, Don’t forget that Pride cometh before a fall.
