* Sankara’s ghost
Radio France Internationale reports that a French parliamentarian is calling for an investigation into the role France played in the 1987 assassination of Burkina Faso president Thomas Sankara:“Twelve Burkinabé MPs wrote to their French counterparts two years ago to demand a parliamentary inquiry into Sankara’s death.
[MP André] Chassaigne says it’s time for France to heed their call.‘France, to an as-yet unknown extent, is responsible for this assassination,’ he said on Wednesday.”
* Toxic Europe
EU’s own lawyers believe European efforts to legalize the export of contaminated ships to poor countries may be illegal:“Leaked European council legal opinion papers seen by the Guardian express grave concerns over the European commission’s attempts to exempt ships from the Basel convention, the global treaty that demands that rich countries dispose of their own asbestos and other hazardous waste materials, and do not add to pollution in poorer countries.…According to the World Bank, Bangladesh alone is expected to have 79,000 tonnes of asbestos and 240,000 tonnes of cancer-causing polychlorinated biphenyls (PCB) chemicals ‘dumped’ on it by rich country’s ships in the next 20 years.”
*Bad suit
The Daily Guide reports that the Africa Centre for Energy Policy is speaking out against efforts by industry lobby groups to get around new US transparency requirements for oil, gas and mining companies operating abroad:In a press release issued recently in Accra and signed by Mohammed Amin Adam, its Executive Director, ACEP said the suit is a betrayal of the move for global transparency in the oil and gas industry by well meaning global citizens and governments.‘We, in Africa, received the news of the issuance of regulations to back the implementation of the Dodd Frank Transparency reforms with great joy because we believe that it would expose corruption and mismanagement of natural resources on our continent.’
…‘It is against this background that ACEP calls on Anadarko, Hess Corporation and Kosmos Energy, who are operating in Ghana, to dissociate themselves from the legal suit by the [American Petroleum Institute] and instead support efforts at enhancing transparency and accountability in the glo
* ISRAHELL ”UNLEASHES” ISRAELI MURDERER ON SYRIA ?
A 23-year-old resident of Tamra who is serving a 20-year sentence for murder failed to report back to prison after a 12-hour leave. His family said he escaped immediately after leaving the facility for his break. The IDF suspects he crossed the border into Syria with the help of two relatives. At around 8 pm, IDF forces detected several suspects near the fence on the Syrian border in the northern Golan Heights. Soldiers arrested two suspects ages 19 and 21 from Tamra and Jaljulia. The two said they were helping a relative cross over to Syria. One of the suspects claimed the man was a relative of his who was serving a 20-year sentence for murder.
The prisoner, who has been jailed since 2006, was meant to return to the Hermon Prison with his family after a brief leave, but never returned. Police initially said that the two were arrested on suspicion they tried to smuggle drugs into Syria but it was later proved inaccurate.
* Ben Zygier Visited Iran Undercover for Mossad, Recruited Saudi, Iranian Students at Australian University
[ed notes: he was serving a 20 year sentence for murder, and yet given 12 hour leaves?got’cha! This tells me,he was sent as a spy(cell) of israhells into Syria to direct its destabilization alongside rebels..
* Ben Zygier Visited Iran Undercover for Mossad, Recruited Saudi, Iranian Students at Australian University
The Sydney Morning Herald has an interesting report that includes material they reported back in 2010 about Zygier’s spying within Australia on behalf of the Mossad. He was accused then by Australia’s intelligence agency of applying multiple times for passports in different names including Ben Alon, Ben Allen and Benjamin Burrows. This is a sure sign among the world’s intelligence agencies that their nation’s passports are being used for espionage purposes. It appears likely that Zygier used his new passports for travel to Iran (and also possibly Lebanon and Syria). I reported that the ships of Israel’s Ofer Brothers were suspected by the U.S. of breaking the international sanctions regime against Iran.
The reason they did was, at least in part, to ferry Mossad agents to and from Iran. One of them may possibly have been Zygier. In addition, several of the agents involved in the al-Mabouh assassination left Dubai via ferry to Iran. Israel is known to have an MEK-facilitated spy network inside Iran which helped in the nuclear scientist assassinations and other sabotage efforts. It’s possible an Ofer Brothers ship took those agents back to Israel.
Again, this is speculation but based on known facts I’ve reported earlier. What’s important about this is that these three countries are places in which the Mossad is very active (or wishes to be). In Iran, the Mossad has participated in acts of terror against the regime including the assassination of five nuclear scientists. Israel has also attacked Syria at least twice in the past four years, which required on the ground assistance from either agents or special forces who infiltrated the country in both cases. Israel also assassinated Imad Mugniyeh and a Syrian general in the past few years. Each would’ve required agents covertly operating on Syria territory.

The speculative bourgeoisie is currently involved in a conspiracy and economic war against the Venezuelan government, National Assembly member Jose Avila said today.”They are trying to overthrow the government economically,” asserted the parliamentarian in reference to the bourgeois commodities speculators that he said aremainly responsible for inflation in the country.
[[[[[[[It is a bourgeoisie that imports 10 times more than it exports and lives from the printing of cheap dollars which are then maneuvered in order to take profits in the parallel foreign-currency market as well as increasing the cost of products to extract additional profit,]]]]]]]he explained to Venezolana de Television.”What the importing bourgeoisie is doing in the country is shameful,” he said.[[[[[“Denouncing it is not sufficient. We would have to build an entire prison to jail speculators,”]]]]] said Avila.
He added that the problem cannot be eradicated solely by the Institute for Defense of People to Access Goods and Services and the National Superintendency of Costs and Prices. “We should be organized with the people,” he said.In this reference, the parliamentarian recalled that the opposition remains mute on the subject of speculation and media and opposition spokespeople are even generating the opinion that investment in Venezuela is pointless, something that is completely false, he said.Faced with opposition criticism against the foreign-currency exchange adjustment by the Government to strengthen the productive mechanism in the country, Avila disarmed the assertions by defeated presidential candidate and governor of the state of Miranda Henrique Capriles, who called those measures a “commie” move.Avila rejected those statements, recalling the inclusive policy by the Executive, shown in the variety of social programs implemented to improve the Venezuelans’ standard of living, “a different strategy from truly dirty measures such as those in 1989, which included budget cuts for social services.”
[ed notes;thats an amazing idea in my opinion ..create a new mission called ”mission speculators prison” this would send a strong message and majority of Venezuelans would support it! and that would be a strong message to foreign northern imperialist govts that unlike them, they truly stand against those harming public and nations interests!

FSA TERRORIST ADMITS ARSAL( LEBANON )WAS PROVIDING REBELS WITH WEAPONS,AMMUNITION
Since Hmayed’s killing, troops from Lebanon’s elite Air Assault regiment have deployed around Arsal, manning a checkpoint on the single asphalt road leading to the town, searching cars and checking identifications. Other troops patrol the surrounding mountains, for now effectively sealing off Arsal from the Syrian war.“It’s [[[[[[[a major blow for the Free Syrian Army because that’s where we get our fighters, weapons, ammunition, ]]]]]]]food everything,” says Ahmad, a former law student from the Syrian border town of Qusayr who joined the FSA eight months ago. He spoke to TIME in a safehouse in a village near Arsal. Army Arrests 11, Including Syrians in Arsal
The Lebanese Army announced Friday that it arrested 11 men, including four Syrian nationals, for possession of arms in the eastern town of Arsal.”Army units deployed in the Arsal area arrested Thursday and this morning [Friday] 11 individuals, including four Syrian nationals, in the barren terrain leading to the Lebanese-Syrian border,” a statement issued by the Lebanese Army said.It further added that quantities of arms, ammunition and military gear the men had were seized.”The detainees and the confiscated items were handed over to relevant authorities,” the statement clarified. In parallel, it mentioned that troops are in pursuit of suspects involved in the Feb. 1 attack on the Lebanese Army that left two soldiers dead.It is worth mentioning that the Lebanese Army’s patrol was ambushed by militants in Arsal town.
The army has since intensified its security around the town in an effort to arrest the assailants.[ed notes:after initial arsal incident the future movement tools and even arsal officials claimed that arsal was attacked because they are sunni and that they supported rebels but denied that thy provided weapons to rebels from FSA..there you have it,an admission wich exposes their duplicitous lies..Lebanese army must occupy arsal and eliminate all the terrorists, period. They are arming terrorists, and consequently engaging Lebanon in war from across border….they must be uprooted in my opinion, and Lebanese state and army must act against these elements until they are wiped out…
* THE E.U. PARLIAMENT ZIONIST AND FSA COMMANDERS IN SYRIA,PROPAGANDA ALERT!
Despite the distrust, they really did appreciate that I had come. Because of security concerns—mainly a fear of kidnapping—[[[[[only the most senior officers knew that I work at the European Parliament.]]]] They were glad that at least one European official made the effort to come to the region and was trying to help (without promising anything). After a conversation of about two hours, we went back to the officer’s house in AzazA VISIT TO A BATTLEFIELD
The next morning we thought the general would take us by car to Aleppo. Instead he brought us to the battlefield at Quweris airport. I visited a small division at the frontline from where I saw three bombs being fired at the airport. Although the soldiers were proud to demonstrate their fighting skills, their commander told me they were sad to be fighting at all. He said the FSA wanted peace but that it was Assad who had forced them into war. He gave me an olive branch and asked me to take it to the European Parliament to show Europe that the FSA’s intentions were good.It was not easy talking to the senior commanders.
They are deeply suspicious about anything European or American. Every one of them kept repeating how they have seen nothing at all materialize from the many promises that were made by the international community. We—the international community—promised them support if they organized themselves militarily. Nothing came. We asked them to organize civilian councils. Nothing came. We promised them humanitarian aid. Nothing came. We promised weapons. Nothing came.I saw with my own eyes what Ahmed Abeit had told me the day before: The FSA has to build bombs and equipment from whatever metal it can find because it doesn’t receive any serious weapons from abroad. This is in sharp contrast to the cluster bombs and other huge explosives I saw fired by the regime.
The FSA has no antiaircraft guns either, so they have no way of stopping the continuous random shelling of the civilian population. My conclusion is that the Syrians I spoke to are right: there is no support whatsoever going to the “liberated areas”. In terms of territory, the FSA controls about 75 percent of Syria. In terms of people, it is hard to tell, but probably about half of the population lives in “liberated areas”. The humanitarian situation is incredibly dramatic. It is such a disaster that it is hard to describe or even imagine.
[ed notes;the intelligence mole(author of this propaganda riddled report, wants people to believe the rebels have no real weapons, but the rebels own videos show they have massive quantities of weapons from seized bases, and weapons supplied from gulf countries, wich proves he’s a fraud!secondly,he says 75% (his own b.s. claim)of Syria is liberated from govt and armed forces..how does(would) they liberate 75% of such a huge country without serious weapons???
The whole piece by this zionist ,wich hung out with FSA commanders is nothing but lies, but important because the ziofraud is yet another piece wich shows that FSA leaders and commanders allow these ZionaZis to propagandize on their behalf…

Syrian troops have bombarded the Golan ceasefire zone neighboring the Zionist entity in response to militants attack on a military police checkpoint.According to Press TV, quoting the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, insurgents attacked the checkpoint in the town of Khan Arnabeh just beyond the outer ceasefire line along the demilitarized zone neighboring the Zionist entity on Saturday.
(Israel)Army radio reported they were civilians, (REBELS)who were taken to Ziv hospital in Safed. An unnamed military official was cited on public radio as saying that Israel had a policy of providing humanitarian aid to refugees, while keeping the border sealed tight against hostile elements. The official also told public radio Israel had prepared designated zones near the border to receive Syrian refugees, under the auspices of the United Nations. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said on Saturday that rebels overran a military police checkpoint at the Golan Heights town of Khan Arnabeh just beyond the outer ceasefire line along the demilitarized zone bordering Israel.Regime forces responded by shelling Khan Arnabeh and the nearby village of Jubata al-Khashab, inside the ceasefire zone.

Ramallah- A Palestinian man held in solitary confinement by Israel for two years is losing his ability to recall language and has speech impairments, a lawyer who visited him in jail said Sunday. The lawyer for the Palestinian prisoners society said Dirar Abu Sisi, an engineer from Gaza, is suffering from a number of health problems in his isolation cell.Abu Sisi disappeared in February 2011 while traveling on a train in Ukraine and Israel later announced that it was holding him in a southern Israeli jail.He was the only prisoner excluded from a May 2012 deal with Israeli authorities to end solitary confinement, according to prisoners rights group Addameer. The deal, which included several terms to improve prisoners conditions, was made to end a mass hunger strike campaign launched by Palestinian prisoners.
The order to keep Abu Sisi in isolation was renewed for another six months on Nov. 1, 2012.The prisoners society lawyer said Abu Sisi told him prison guards were implementing other punitive measures. They bring him rotten food, and recently confiscated his notebook where he records his thoughts during his isolation, Abu Sisi said. The technical director at Gaza’s sole electricity plant, Abu Sisi was charged with developing Hamas’ rocket capabilities. Abu Sisi denies the charges and Hamas says he has no affiliation to the group.DisappearanceAbu Sisi, father of six and the husband of a Ukrainian woman, disappeared while traveling between Kiev and the eastern city of Kharkov on the night of Feb. 18-19.His wife Veronica said train attendants told her that her husband had been taken away by two men posing as officers of the Ukrainian secret service.
A month later, Israel partially lifted a gag order on reporting his disappearance and Abu Sisi turned up in Israeli court.Secretive detentions in Israel have come under the spotlight in recent days, after an Australian TV report identified the mysterious ‘Prisoner X’ as Australian citizen Ben Zygier.Zygier, a possible Mossad operative detained on suspicion of security offenses, was held in isolation and his identity shrouded in secrecy. He committed suicide in Israeli jail in 2010.

The Israeli regime has delivered airborne electronic systems to Turkey, which will integrate the systems into its Airborne Warning and Control System (AWACS) military aircraft. – The reconnaissance systems have now arrived at a Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) facility in Ankara, and their integration into military aircraft purchased from the United States will be completed in the next few weeks, the Turkish newspaperToday’s Zaman reported on Sunday. An unnamed senior Turkish defense official said that the US multinational aerospace and defense corporation, Boeing, had to intervene to resolve the standoff between Turkey and the Israeli regime over the systems. “Boeing told Israel that their refusal to complete the delivery was hurting their business, and Israel agreed to deliver the equipment,” the Turkish official said.

* UN SHOWS ITS ASS AGAIN:SYRIA VS YEMEN,THE SANCTIONS WEAPON
The United Nations Security Council issued a statement Friday welcoming Yemen’s upcoming National Dialogue Conference and warning of sanctions for spoilers who interfere in the Dialogue. According to the Council, these potential spoilers include former leaders, former opposition figures, and other opponents to the current government. The statement identified former President Ali Abdullah Saleh and his deputy Ali Salim al-Beidh as individuals whose may engage in efforts to derail Yemen’s political transition. “What he should not do is undermine the political transition, the national dialogue, which is fully supported by all the international community,” said Mark Lyall Grant, Britain’s UN ambassador. “What we are saying is that we are giving our full weight behind that process, and we will not tolerate individuals of whatever stature undermining that process.”Sanctions would be non-military and could include interruption of economic relations or various means of communication or severance of diplomatic relations.
The Council also expressed concern over the recent reports of weapons being brought into Yemen and encouraged the international community to continue its support for Yemen. All fifteen members of the Council approved the statement.
[ed notes:isnt it amazing(and criminal) how the UNITED NATIONS allowed and promoted sanctions against Syrians(who now can’t afford gas,to heat their homes,or to cook),to issue a statement saying that if the (still in power war criminal)dictator saleh and his cronies disrupt the fraudulent political process and phoney transition of power,in Yemen, that un security council migth impose sanctions,(but non military!)on country and its people? To have the brittish limey ambassador to UN speak of political process in Yemen is not only insulting but an afront to all Yemenis …similarly any statements of that nature by any powers within EU wich shielded Saleh from being prosecuted for crimes he committed is not only farcical but immoral!consider it was EU/U.S. who was selling Saleh his military hardware to brutalize the citizens during his brutal reign, and even after arab spring and the brutal crackdown,it kept the aid going(despite rethoric to threaten to cut it off, never did)
Andrew’s trip to Yemen was followed by arms deal – UK Politics – UK … EU should ban arms sales to Yemen and Bahrain – EU Observer more even, they backed the immunity deal brokered(imposed against yemenis wishes) by the GCC puppet monarchies to allow this despicable rat(saleh) to remain in country! While the zio western powers sanction Syrians right to the most basic necessities in order to live and survive a situation wich they(western powers) created thru destabilization,in Yemen(and Bahrain and GCC countries)these powers shield these dictators and continue selling them military hardware to crackdown and supress any chance at liberating themselves …
