From the April 16 edition of CBN’s The 700 Club:
PAT ROBERTSON: Our hearts go out to these people who were wounded and injured. On a joyous day, Patriots’ Day, in Boston and the Boston Marathon draws people in from all around the world, about 26 or 7 thousand participants about 17,000 I understand it finished — crossed the finish line before this bomb went off. But to think that somebody would be so vicious, so evil as to want to kill little children, and maim families who were there rejoicing in a sporting contest on a beautiful day in Boston, it just makes you sick at your stomach. Don’t talk to me about religion of peace, no way. EEE–Yikes! Doesn’t that dirty old man make your skin crawl? I ask any woman out there: Would you let Pat Robertson babysit your child unattended? Pat, who considers himself to be Jesus’ BFF, is upset about the deaths and maiming of a few American children. I am too. Let’s bring the responsible parties to justice. Still, let’s put this thing into its proper perspective, shall we? Who really kills children and steals their joy on a daily, weekly, monthly and yearly basis? From September 29, 2000 to this day, 1,516 Palestinian children have been killed by the Israeli murderers whom Pat Robertson pledges his allegiance. Hey, Pat, considering that Israel was founded on Judaism, DON’T TALK TO ME ABOUT RELIGION OF PEACE, NO WAY! Pat is troubled by American “families [killed or maimed while] rejoicing in a sporting contest on a beautiful day in Boston.” Hey, Pat? You mean the same kind of beautiful day before Israeli Occupation Forces opened fire on helpless animals in the Gaza Zoo? From American Free Press: “It’s a fact: Israeli soldiers rampaged through the little zoo and shot as many innocent caged animals at point blank range as they could. Although it should have been a worldwide scandal—on the front page of every daily paper and on every nightly broadcast on television and radio—it was not. While some defenders of Israel have attempted to suggest that the zoo and its animals were unintended ‘collateral damage’ of war-time, caught in military crossfire, the evidence demonstrates otherwise. The soldiers of ‘America’s dearest ally’ went into the zoo itself and shot the poormonkeys in their cages. A mother monkey tried to hide with her baby in a clay pot, but the Israelis shot the pot to pieces and killed them. Although the soldiers of ‘the apple of God’s eye’ fired on the two lions, those wily four-legged cats managed to escape from their lair and hid in one of the zoo offices. And while the Israelis did not shoot the foxes, those little fellows turned on each other for food when the zookeepers were not able (due to the military action in Gaza) to get to them in time to feed them. The hysterical foxes mauled each other to death in a frenzied act of cannibalism. A pregnant camel died after a missile cut it down, tearing a foot-long hole in the side of the fabled ‘horse of the desert.’ A pathetic picture of the camel, which clearly took some time to die—very much in agony—was released to the world, but few people saw the ugly image. While Israel has asserted that its military is the ‘most moral’ armed force of any nation on the planet, the real nature of Israel was bared to the world although not to the extent that it should be—when the truth about the Israeli army’s shocking attack on the Gaza Zoo came to the fore. The horrible story was told in the January 25 issue of Gulf News, published in Abu Dhabi, and has been repeated on websites on the Internet, but a check of the vaunted ‘news’ source of Google, the Internet giant (owned by two billionaires who are supporters of Israel) indicates that the story has never appeared in any newspaper or magazine catalogued by Google. But the ‘moral’ Israelis weren’t content with butchering the animals. They even defaced the walls of the main building and ripped out one of the toilets. When the zookeeper was asked why the Israelis targeted the zoo, he said, ‘I don’t know. You have to go and ask the Israelis. This is a place where people come to enjoy themselves. It’s not a place of politics.’ Responding to claims by Israel that Palestinians were firing rockets from civilian areas, the zookeeper said: ‘There was not a single person in this zoo. Just the animals. We all fled before they came. What purpose does it serve to walk around shooting animals and destroying the place?’ During the past four years, the zoo was the most popular place in Gaza for the Christian and Muslim children of Gaza. There was nowhere else for people to go. The Israelis destroyed the zoo and God’s four-legged creatures therein.” In light of Pat’s recent comments, I must reiterate a paragraph from the aforementioned AFP article: “When the zookeeper was asked why the Israelis targeted the zoo, he said, ‘I don’t know. You have to go and ask the Israelis. This is a place where people come to enjoy themselves. It’s not a place of politics.'” Let’s return to that same hypocritical Pat Robertson comment: “…to think that somebody would be so vicious, so evil as to want to kill little children, and maim families who were there rejoicing in a sporting contest on a beautiful day in Boston, it just makes you sick at your stomach.” Sporting contests? Hey, Pat? Did you not get the memo on what happened during Operation Cast Lead? From Middle East Monitor (MEMO): “During its most recent 8-day aggression against the Gaza Strip, Israel had a number of objectives which included the destruction of agricultural land, open fields, homes and infrastructure. Moreover, Israeli aircraft also targeted two important sports stadiums where various matches and championships are usually held. This is not the first time that Israel has targeted sport in Gaza; on several occasions it has targeted boys and young men playing football “too close” to the border. The first sports facility targeted was the Yarmouk Stadium in central Gaza, which was hit by F-16 missiles. A huge crater was created in the surrounding tarmac area, and adjacent law courts were damaged considerably. The Palestine Stadium was also hit again; it was a target during the 2008/9 “Operation Cast Lead”. During the recent bombardment it was almost completely destroyed, as were the offices of the Ministry of Youth and Sport. FIFA has said that it will pay to rebuild the stadium.” Documenting Muslim crimes against Jewish and other gentile kids might fill a pamphlett, but documenting American and Zionist crimes against Muslim children would fill volumes. I’m not even going to attempt going their. It’s a simple matter of arithmatic. See for yourselves. The “joyous day” that Pat feels was stripped away from the American people has been replaced with an even more “joyous day” that came when their alleged villain was hauled away in the back of a police SUV. Killin’ Mooslims is the new American sport, and from now on it’s open season. If I may use your own words, Pat Robertson: “it just makes you sick at your stomach.” |
