    We are facing the historic N.Corea-US summit tomorrow.
    We sent the Peace Expedition to Singapore to report this important summit and to demand “Peace Treaty Now!” and “US Troops Out Now!”.
    We would like to ask you to send us a message of solidarity.

    These days we have developed the strongest struggle as possible as we can.
    In South Corea, youth members advanced into the U.S. embassy with holding a banner and throwing flyers.
    We had sent Peace Expedition to USA, France, Germany, and Britain and struggle with local progressive activists.
    In particular, the head of Peace Expedition to USA had done “All-night sit-in & Indefinite Hunger Strike” in front of the White House until the Max Thunder war exercise ends.
    Recently we’ve consecutively announced “PDP Spokesperson Report” at the symbolic places such as White House, Brandenburg gate, Potsdam and Checkpoint Charlie.
    Please reference below demands.
    – Immediately Sign a Peace Treaty between  N.Corea and US !
    – Permanently Stop All War Exercises Against N.Corea!
    – Withdraw US Troops Right Now!
    – Corean people determine Corean problems! The U.S. must stop all intervention!
    – Implement April 27 Panmunjom Declaration! Support federal reunification!
    – The U.S. must stop controlling and inciting anti-peace, anti-reunification behaving by pro-US, ultra-right forces.
    When the summit starts at 9AM(Singapore time) on 12, your message will be released at the same time through our demonstration in South Corea. We also spread all these messages widely through the Facebook live streaming and our media.
    So please send your message until 10PM(Local time in Britain).

    Spokesperson Report 201 – Comment in Germany 1
    We determine our nation’s destiny on our own accord.
    At the place where the Potsdam conference was held in July 1945, we declare our
    position about June 12 Singapore conference.
    1. Historic lesson of the Potsdam Conference is the principle of national
    self-determination. After the Yalta Conference in February 1945, the leaders of the
    Soviet Union, United States, and Britain discussed about handling the postwar problem.
    During the Potsdam Conference, the problem of Chosun’s destiny was also discussed.
    The discussion was continued until the Moscow Conference in December same year, the
    plan of trusteeship schemed by the U.S. was rejected by the Soviet Union’s opposition.
    After that, U.S. shamelessly manipulated public opinion in Chosun and made division of
    national opinion and the source of calamity of war. It is the problem caused by our
    nation not having been able to decide its destiny.
    2. At the Singapore talks, the principle of peace and independence must be declared.
    The first N. Corea – US summit, a historic summit, have to assure the peace of Corean
    peninsula and the principle of independence of our nation. Trump and Pompeo said
    about declaration of the end of war or phased, synchronous denuclearization of Corean
    peninsula and normalization of relations between N.Corea and U.S, and this must
    certainly go forward in the directionof withdrawal USFK and permanent and stable
    peace regime.
    3. April 27 Panmunjom Declaration agreed at the Panmunjom talks must be
    implemented. The spirit of national self-determination and national independence that
    ‘We determine the destiny of our nation on our own accord.’ must be thoroughly
    implemented. In particular, with ‘declaring an end to the war and turning the armistice
    into a peace treaty during this year’, all war exercises against N. Corea must be
    permanently stopped and USFK must be withdrawn immediately.
    We are confident that all Coreans will turn out as one in the struggle to determine the
    destiny of our nation on our own accord and will make a new history of independent
    reunification .

    Let us achieve our nation’s peace, prosperity and reunification through Implementing
    Panmunjom Declaration.
    In front of the Brandenburg Gate which is the symbol of the reunification of Germany,
    we declare our position on the reunification of Corea.
    1. German is German, our country is our country. Germany is the war criminal and the
    defeated, but our country is the damaged and the victorious. Our nation fought with
    arms to be freed from the colony of Japanese imperialism. There is the biggest problem
    of 20th-century history in that our country was divided although it’s the damaged and
    the victorious unlike Germany which was divided because it’s the war criminal and the
    defeated. Corea was divided because the great powers had played with our destiny.
    This historical lesson shows there is nothing so important as the principle of national
    self-determination which means to decide our nation’s destiny on our own accord
    without any foreign powers.
    2. Our country’s reunification must be different from the reunification of Germany. The
    reunification of our country must not be an absorption that means who takes whom,
    but a reunification of coexistence in which people respect each other and develop
    together. We must thoroughly reject the way that the one side overwhelms the other
    side by power and war, and we must peacefully reunify. Humankind does not know any
    way other than federal system as a scientific way respecting the mutual system and
    reunifying peacefully. It is the time to open up the substantive way to the reunification
    of the fatherland by observing strictly the principle of independence, peace and the
    great national unity of July 4th South-North Joint Statement in 1972.
    3. Panmunjom declaration agreed and declared by the leaders of the South and the
    North is the programme and the banner of independent reunification. If following the
    way of peace, prosperity and reunification declared in Panmunjom declaration, South
    and North achieve the long-cherished desire of independent reunification in the near
    future. For this, first af all, National Security Law which has obstructed communication
    and travel between the North and the South must be abolished and U.S. troops must
    be withdrawn from South which has hindered our nation’s reunification. The South
    Corean government must be no more swayed by the anti-unification power within and
    without any more and go forward in the direction of the national independence and
    the great national unity. With this, they must establish permanent and stable peace
    regime and achieve the great work of the reunification of the fatherland.
    Like Germany reunified, Our country will reunify certainly.

    Let us accomplish independent reunification acceleratedly through thorough
    Implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration!
    In front of Checkpoint Charlie in Berlin which is the symbol of division, we declare our
    position on the reunification of our country.
    1. Checkpoint Charlie is the symbol of division of Germany and cold war regime. Here,
    one of the checkpoint of the Berlin Wall, sharp crisis was repeated caused by imperialist
    nature of the U.S. Also in Panmunjom, a Checkpoint Charlie of Corea, a danger of war
    has been constantly escalating caused by invading forces. However, April 27
    inter-Corean top-level meeting changed Panmunjom from the symbol of the division to
    the symbol of the reunification.
    The U.S. has been scheming a “new cold war”. While isolating China and Russia with
    the strategies of encirclement of Eurasia, to isolate and crush North Corea, the U.S.
    imposed unprecedented sanctions and held the most powerful war exercises. As long as
    the U.S. is imperialist country, it is inevitable that the U.S. labels North Corea which is
    socialist country as the most dangerous enemy and repeats the war exercises.
    At Panmunjom, the historic programme of independent reunification was announced. As
    confirming again and again that we determine our destiny on our own accord, our
    nation already started to open up a new chapter of the reunification of the fatherland.
    With the great unity of the whole nation, we are confident that we will accomplish a
    new history of peace, prosperity and reunification acceleratedly against the
    anti-reunification forces within and without who deny April 27 Panmunjom Declaration.
    Implementation of the Panmunjom Declaration is a shortcut to independent
    reunification.
