Illegally Nazi occupied Hebron : The Ministry of Education in Hebron, teacher Mohammed Sabarneh, to work on Thursday, after his suspension from work yesterday, following the spread of a video documenting the beatings of students.
The ministry arrested the teacher Sabarneh, who works in one of the schools of the Directorate of Education in Hebron, on Tuesday, “as a temporary precautionary measure” on the back of beating a number of students in the courtyards of the school, has been filmed and published the video through communication sites.
The ministry said on Wednesday evening that the committee charged with following up the incidents of the beating of a teacher for students in the school “Harbi Abu Dababat” in Hebron, recommended the return of the teacher to work tomorrow morning, taking the necessary measures in particular, noting that the committee worked in accordance with due process, and ended Its recommendations were approved by the Ministry.
She stressed her follow-up to the issue of violence in schools, based on her full commitment to preventing violence in all its forms, causes and parties, explaining that its competent staff is working on a detailed code reinforced by executive plans to deal with the causes and manifestations of school violence in all its forms.
She pointed out that this code, which is being prepared in partnership with all components of the educational family of teachers, students and parents and in cooperation with official institutions and the community and civil society, in the framework of the joint commitment to provide a safe and supportive and stimulating school environment.
For his part, Director of Education in Hebron, Atef Al-Jamal, said that the teacher Mohammed Sabarneh was not dismissed, but was stopped as a precaution and will return to normal work tomorrow, and may not and may not be portrayed teacher even if the mistake of beating students.
The issue of beating students has sparked widespread controversy in Palestinian society about the nature of beatings, not accepting beatings, as well as demanding reform of the educational system as a whole, and preserving the dignity of the teacher, at a time when he was scheduled to organize a strike to support the teacher and return to work and the need to punish the photographer.
