I would like to THANK YOU for your supporting letter, I was delighted to receive it not only for it supports me emotionally, but also, and maybe mainly, because of its political say and support in these hard days.
Revoking my parliamentarian privileges is only another act in a series of actions taking by the Israeli government in order to change the rules of the game, and to induce: “who ever don’t support Zionism is not legitimate”. All of this added to the de-legitimization of the Palestinian minority in Israel in general, since 2000.
The incitement against me is part of a systematic and programmed witch-hunt of the Palestinian leaders in Israel. Very rapidly and in a dangerous way, this incitement is widening up; it has reached lately a peak of direct threat on banning activism against the occupation, activists lives, Jews and Arabs are threatened, and series of legislation aiming at silencing the civil society in Israel, production of movies, and the free speech and opinion for academics. All and other legislation had passed in this last Knesset session.
I appreciate your support, and I believe that the Apartheid, the discrimination can be defeated only by sincere and mutual solidarity.
