Despite Marzook´s attempt to “spin” his statement as opposing Zionism or Israel, a review of the political development pertaining Hamas, Syria and Qatar reveals, that at least a leading and significant faction within Hamas has actively prepared for the joint Zionist – Western – GCC subversion on Syria.
On 14 June, the leading Hamas member, Dr. Abou Marzook issued a statement on his Facebook page, in which he demanded, that the Lebanese Hezbollah Party withdraws its fighters from Syria, so as to concentrate on the resistance against Israel.(1 The Hamas official´s statement was made not much more than a week, after Western, Israeli and GCC backed insurgents suffered a decisive defeat in the Syrian city Qasair.(2
Some of the primary, contributing factors to the Syrian armed forces victory over the foreign-backed terrorist forces in Qasair were:
That the Syrian armed forces have adopted a counter insurgency strategy which partially is based on the Russian military´s experience with combating western-backed insurgents in Chechnya.
That Iraq´s Prime Minister Nouri Al-Maliki has taken action and closed a Saudi-Arabian smuggling route, which is starting in the Anbar province. This well-known smuggling route was during the U.S. occupation of Iraq used by Saudi-backed terrorists, who created sectarian violence in Iraq. The route was re-activated in 2011, and used for logistical support of Saudi-backed terrorists in Syria.
The Iraqi Prime Minister´s decision to close the route, as well as to help securing the Iraqi – Syrian border came, after Saudi-Arabia, in late 2012, restarted its support of terrorism in Iraq, which this time was being directed against the Al-Maliki administration.(3
Al-Maliki´s initiative effectively closed the Syrian – Iraqi border with the exception of Kurdish administrated Iraqi regions, and weakened the insurgents in Syria.
That Hezbollah has taken the initiative to help closing the Lebanese border for insurgents. Lebanon has been used as a front line against Syria. Two of the primary pillars of support for terrorists who infiltrated from Lebanon into Syria are the Saudi-Lebanese citizen, former Lebanese prime Minister, and leader of “The Future Movement”, Saad Hariri, and the leader of the Lebanese Druze Community and Chairman of Lebanon´s Progressive Socialist Party, Walid Jumblatt.
Hariri´s implication became publicly known after several covertly recorded audio tapes surfaced. One of the audio tapes and a translation into English were published on nsnbc international. (4
Walid Jumblatt became implicated after a person with close ties to Jordanian intelligence made it public, that Jumblatt was under suspicion for having been involved in the delivery of 50 ton military equipment from the Israeli “Raphael Industry” (5, at a value of approximately 650 million USD to an airfield in the Kurdish administered, Iraqi city Erbil. nsnbc international has written to Raphael Industry, encouraging them to clear the company´s name, but never received a reply.
It is explicitly mentioned, that the delivery took place after Jumblatt was shuttling back and forth between Qatar, Erbil and Turkey. The weapons were reportedly delivered to Western and Qatar backed terrorists in Syria.
Istanbul Protests
Turkey´s position as front-line state and logistic back-land for insurgents in Syria has been weakened by two factors. The arrest of 12 members of the western-backed, internationally banned, al-Qaeda associated terrorist organization Jabhat al-Nusrah, in Turkey, who were in possession of two kg of the lethal Sarin nerve agent and the subsequent confiscation of two kg Sarin from insurgents in Syria, which resulted in demands for heightened security and sharp criticism of the Erdogan administrations support of terrorists in Syria. (6
The mass protests against the Erdogan administration which erupted on 31 June 2013, and which have significantly weakened the Turkish Prime Minister´s position with regard to the Syria war and a joint Gül / Erdogan / US regional project for the “balkanization” of Turkey. (7
Israel´s covert war on Syria, a War on the Palestinian and anti-Zionist Resistance. Israel´s involvement in the attempted subversion of Syria has been well documented. Moreover, Israel´s covert war on Syria is a war against the sole Arab nation, which has consequently and consistently supported the Palestinian resistance against Israel´s occupation of Palestine and the Lebanese resistance against Zionist plans for a greater Israel, including parts of Lebanon.
Besides the disclosure, that Israel delivers weapons to insurgents in Syria via straw-men like Jumblatt, there is other, and stronger evidence for Israel´s support of the insurgents, for direct military involvement by Israeli forces on the ground, and not least for the fact, that Israel has been a primary factor behind the planning of the war on Syria, years before the first public demonstrations in Syria in 2011.
In May 2013 an Israeli military vehicle was confiscated near the Syrian city Qasair. The confiscation of the Israeli military vehicle in the city, which later was liberated by Syrian armed forces, aided by Hezbollah who cut of re-supply lines for the insurgents, clearly indicates that Israel has “boots on the ground” in Syria. (8
In June 2013 a UNDOF officer from the withdrawn Austrian Brigade in the Israeli occupied Syrian Golan Highs stated, that Israel provides significant support for terrorists in Syria, that Israel maintains a joint military – terrorist operations room in the Golan, and that Israeli military forces are directly involved in targeting Syrian positions. (9
Dumas implicates top-British officials and Israel in planning Syria War years before 2011. Also in June 2013, the former French Foreign Minister Robert Dumas directly implicated top-British officials and Israel in planning the war on Syria, years before the first public demonstrations and the so-called Arab Spring in 2011. (10
During a TV program on the French station LPC, Dumas said:
“I am going to tell you something. I was in England two years before the violence in Syria on other business. I met with top British officials, who confessed to me, that they were preparing something in Syria”.
Dumas continued, indicating that the subversion and invasion of the Syrian Arab Republic with the help of “rebels” was primarily a British plan, while he carefully avoided implicating himself and France, saying:
“This was in Britain not in America. Britain was organizing an invasion of rebels into Syria. They even asked me, although I was no longer Minister of Foreign Affairs, if I would like to participate. Naturally, I refused, I said I am French, that does not interest me”
There are cohorts of other evidence, that supports, that Israel is one of the primary powers behind the war on Syria. One of the most important reasons for the timing of the war on Syria is closely related to the discovery of the worlds largest, known gas reserves in the Persian Gulf in 2007, and the result of new surveys of gas reserves in the Eastern Mediterranean Levantine, which documented that the gas reserves in the area were 70 % greater than they were previously thought to be.
A joint Iran, Iraq, Syria pipeline project that, if completed, would deliver gas to the Eastern Mediterranean Coast, near the Russian naval base in Tartus, and the fact that Israel would, under no circumstances want to tolerate the political influence Iran and Syria would gain within the European Union, and especially with respect to the E.U.´s policy regarding Palestine, if the E.U., together with the Russian gas delivered via the South Stream pipeline, were to receive more than 45 % of the natural gas it would consume over the coming 100 -120 years from an Iranian, Syrian, Russian cartel. (11 This is one of the primary reasons for the onset of the planning of the war on Syria by Israel and Qatar in 2007, and Hamas, as it will become clear, is deeply involved in it.
The 2007 U-Turn of Hamas and the Sellout of Syria, Palestine and Hezbollah.
While it is wrong to state, that Hamas is “a creation of Israel” it is correct that Israel has covertly supported Hamas and that “some leading Hamas members” have cooperated with Israel through Qatar. The logic behind Israel´s support of Hamas, not only as a social and religious organization but as a militant force was, that a strong Islamic Party and resistance movement, with roots within the Muslim Brotherhood, was the perfect instrument for weakening the progressive resistance, including progressive factions within the Fatah movement, the Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine (DFLP), the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP), the Syrian backed As Saika (Vanguard), and the Syrian backed Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command (PFLP-GC). Syrian and Iranian support of Hamas was a support of the axis for the Liberation of Palestine and the anti-Zionist axis which also included Hezbollah and Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya.
In 2007, Qatar and Israel through Qatar, succeeded at turning two members of this axis away from Iran and Syria. By the means of significant economic incentives and agreements regarding the restructuring of a post-Syria war Middle East, Qatar (and Israel) succeeded at turning Lebanon´s Al-Jamaa al-Islamiya and Palestinian Hamas away from Iran and Syria and toward a re-alignment with the Qatar-based international chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood. During the same period, Turkey´s Foreign Minister Davotoglu received USD 10 billion from Qatar, which were to be spent on preparing the Turkish Muslim Brotherhood for a war on Syria.
The re-alignment of al-Jamaa al-Islamiya with Qatar´s Muslim Brotherhood, which is deeply infiltrated by the British Foreign Intelligence Service MI 6 and the Palestinian Hamas should primarily weaken Hezbollah and Syria, but ultimately also the regional influence of Iran.
Hamas however, having its primary office in Damascus, could not openly admit that they had re-aligned themselves with Qatar. The re-alignment was a well-kept secret until 2011.
Hamas – Baptism of Treason. One of the first covert operations, which Hamas was involved in, and which should seed the ground for a war on Syria, was its involvement in facilitating the murder on prominent Turkish Muslim Brothers who were opposed to the Turkish Muslim Brotherhoods involvement in the planned, covert war on Syria.
Mavi Marmara. The operation took place on board the Turkish registered Gaza Freedom Flotilla vessel Mavi Marmara, which was stormed by Israeli troops, in open waters, in an act of piracy. Involved in planning the operation were key Hamas members, as well as Israeli and Turkish / NATO intelligence, and the known NATO double agents and al-Qaeda – LIFG members Harati and Belhadj. Abedlhakim Belhadj was later to become the military governor of Tripoli, Libya, and commander of the Libyan brigades which fought the Syrian armed forces in the battles for Homs in June and July 2012 (12
Hamas Leaves Syria. After a Palestinian source with ties to Palestinian and Syrian Intelligence denounced Hamas for treason against Palestine and Syria, in February 2012, Hamas hastily vacated its Damascus office. The last Hamas official to vacate the Damascus office was Imad al-Amadi.
On his return to Gaza, Imad al-Hamadi let himself be celebrated as a national hero. Not a word was abut Hamas realignment with Qatar. Not a word was said about the betrayal of the axis of resistance. Not a word was said about the involvement in the Mavi Marmara killings. The official reason Hamas gave for vacating the Damascus office was, that “the decision was based on the Syrian government´s crack-down against protesters”. (13
Another fact that was not mentioned for Palestinians, other than to a select group of Hamas members belonging to the pro Qatar fraction of Hamas was, that the fraction was responsible for the murder on numerous Hamas members who opposed their treason. In some cases these liquidations were blamed on, or in fact carried out by Israel´s Mossad.
One such murder was the murder of one of the the deputies of former Hamas senior commander Mahmud al-Mabhuh, Kamal Hussein Ghannaja in is apartment in a Damascus suburb in June 2012. (14
What was not mentioned during the “return of the Hamas heroes” either, was that at least a strong fraction within Hamas, led by Khaled Meshal, had agreed on the Qatar (and Israeli) endorsed establishment of a Palestinian state in Gaza, while rendering the greatest part of the West Bank and East Jerusalem to Israel, with small, walled, remaining Palestinian enclaves in the West Bank coming under Jordanian jurisdiction with a form of Palestinian autonomy.
Selling out the West Bank for a Hamas / Muslim Brotherhood Caliphate in Gaza. What the Hamas fraction, loyal to Qatar (and Israel), and led by Meshal had agreed to was, what the author, in another article described as Israel´s Final Solution.(15 The plan involves:
The annexation of the greatest part of the West Bank and East Jerusalem by Israel. Small, remaining, walled Palestinian enclaves are planned to go under Jordanian jurisdiction, with a certain degree of autonomy granted for the residents in the enclaves. An official Israeli document confirms, Israel allocates no more than 0.7 % of the West Bank to Palestinians. (16
The annexation of parts of Southern Lebanon and the annexation of the Syrian Golan Highs. The resettlement of Palestinians from the West Bank to Southern Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. The establishment of a Palestinian state, which eventually will be recognized by Israel, in the Gaza Strip and the Gaza Strip only.
This Hamas / Muslim Brotherhood led Palestinian State in Gaza would be economically dependent on Egypt and Israel, and would become integrated into an Egyptian Free Trade Zone (with substantial Qatari and Israeli investments ) in the Sinai. One of the preparatory steps was taken in August 2012, when Hamas, against the protest and warnings of most other Palestinian fractions, declared Gaza a “Liberated Zone”. (17
The Straw that Breaks the camel´s Back. Hamas “Demands” that Hezbollah Leaves Syria. The final evidence for the fact, that at least a leading and strong fraction of Hamas has chosen to side with Qatar´s war on Syria and the Western / Zionist plan for a Greater Israel, with a Palestinian State in Gaza, and Gaza only, was the public statement of the leading Hamas official Dr. Abou Marzook, in which he “demands” that Hezbollah leaves Syria.
It is inconceivable that Dr. Abou Marzook is unaware of the strategic significance of Hezbollah´s solidarity and strategic alliance with Syria against the neo-colonialist and Zionist war project against Syria.
It is also inconceivable, that an experienced politician an intellectual like Dr. Abou Marzook does not know the importance of the national integrity and security of Syria for the anti-colonialist and anti-Zionist alliance and for the survival of the Palestinian State, be it within the borders of 1948 or 67.
It is also inconceivable, that Dr. Abou Marzouk would be making such a statement, even on Facebook, without him having the approval of and without the statement being concurrent with the leadership of Hamas.
The Statement will be the last straw, that will break “A” camel´s back. The question is, which camel ?
Provided, that the people of Palestine, the political fractions as well as patriotic members of Hamas recognize the significance and the full implications of Marzook´s statement and the underlying politics, and provided that this recognition is transformed into a renewed resistance, it may very well be, that it is the back of the camel of the Zionist – neo-colonialist, anti-Palestinian and anti-Syrian alliance that will be broken. Ultimately, that would include the Hamas fraction that decided to sell Palestine and Syria for power in Gaza. It is Hamas, and Hamas only, that can purge those members who are betraying Palestine.
Provided, that such response fails to manifest, and provided, that Hamas succeeds at further dividing the anti-colonialist, anti-Zionist, anti-Palestinian and anti-Syrian alliance, and provided Syria falls, it will be the back of Palestine that will be broken beyond repair.
The existence of Palestine, as a sovereign state, within borders that are drawn according to international law, has never been as threatened as it is today. The primary sources of this threat is Zionism and a strong enemy within. It is a Hamas, that has aligned itself with the forces of Zionism and neo-colonialism, against Syria, Hezbollah, solidarity and against the axis of resistance.
