Galloway said he would refuse to meet with mayors of Zionist cities if he held the position, according to a report in Jewish News on Wednesday.
Last year, Galloway was caught on tape declaring that the northern city of Bradford should be an “Israel-free zone.” He doesn’t think London should be Israel-free, however, according to the Jewish News report.
“I would not be able to do that, but the mayoralty could,” Jewish News cited him as saying.
Galloway, leader of the Respect party, lost his seat in Bradford West in the general election in May.
