Five journalists on Saturday detained by the Nazi occupation forces in the wake of their coverage of the effectiveness of refusing to settle in the Palestinian Jordan Valley near the new outpost, before they release them occupation authorities at dawn today after the confiscation of several holdings of some of them.
One of the released detainees, Hazem Nasser, tells Quds al-Akhbaria the details of his detention with his colleagues Khaled Badir, Amir Shaheen, Mahmoud Fawzi and Zaher Hussein.“We were covering an anti-settlement activity in the northern Jordan Valley, when an officer came to us and asked for IDs and vehicle keys and ordered us to wait, ” he said.
Nasser confirms that he and the journalists were waiting from (11-2) at noon accompanied by 9 foreign solidarity and 3 bus drivers and a driver of the municipal car of Aqraba.He added that the Nazi Gestapo confiscated 3 personal cameras and a laptop computer in addition to several vehicles and two buses.
Later, the Nazi occupation forces transferred the detainees to a nearby camp by bus, while the Israeli soldiers led the vehicles of the detainees and marched the detainees towards the settlement of “Ariel”.
“They brought us into the investigation and charged us with three counts, the first one entering a no-go zone, the second obstructing the army’s work, as well as assaulting a settler and violating public security,” said Hazem al- Quds, a journalist .
After interrogating the detainees at the “Ariel Police Station,” the occupation told them to hold their belongings and vehicles and that they should review the Palestinian liaison to review the occupation and find out the procedures.
