The story of the people of Bhopal

Has Union Carbide Ever Been Found Accountable For Bhopal?

Union Carbide murdered 10,000 people from Bhopal and chronically injured 150,000 more in December of 1984 with a toxic gas leak, and no one was held accountable for it.

Indian courts have warrants out for CEO at the time, Warren Anderson, who went into hiding after the incident. Anderson’s defense is that he is being arrested not for what he did, but for the fact that he was sitting as the CEO at the time.

If not he, then who?

Where is the conscience of a corporation?
