Capt. Eric H. May GT Commander

Captain Eric H. May, a Desert Storm Volunteer, served on the general staff of the Houston’s 75th Division.

In April 2003 he sat for two weeks in front of his alma mater, the University of Houston Honors College,

to take up a collection for US war dead. After 40 hours he only received $20. He spent the next three

weeks riding a bicycle 1,000 miles to Ft. Stewart, Georgia to deliver the money to the headquarters of

the 3rd Infantry Division. There he learned that his worst fears were true. Hundreds of American

casualties incurred in the Battle of Baghdad were completely covered up by the Bush Administration.

Probably better than the published essays, the unpublished essays effectively predicted the overall course of the Iraq War. The failure of his bosses in the U.S. media to publish these essays shows the extent of national media control in our post-9/11 world.

Israel was playing safe by distancing itself from Bush and the neocons while the Battle of Baghdad hung in the balance on April 5, 2003, and then after the cover-up held, they scrubbed the 2009-04-05 original publication date for this article, and 2009-05-04 started showing up on the Internet for American references of the article.
