Note to Shas Party members, FBI agents, and Americans, all red highlighting below is mine.
1.  “That incident has prompted a lot of soul searching inside the movement for Palestinian human rights, because it showed that a significant part of the community wants to talk about Israeli policy in the context of Jewish history and Jewish identity, and do so in a highly critical manner. Clearly a lot of people, including many in our community, want to have these conversations and regard them as necessary to resolving the Middle East conflict. We don’t. We are tired of serving as a platform for this discussion, including in the comment section, and don’t see the conversation as a productive one. From here on out, the Mondoweiss comment section will no longer serve as a forum to pillory Jewish culture and religion as the driving factors in Israeli and US policy.”
Phil Weis.
2. “I’m angry.
“You see, as most Americans were waking up this morning, and those in Europe and elsewhere around the world were going about their daily routines, here in Israel — over one million people were running for cover from a hail of rockets being rained down by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza. In the space of 24 hours, since Tuesday evening, 80 rockets have been fired on southern Israel. That’s more than three rockets per hour. By the time I finish this article, odds are that count will have risen to 85 rockets.”
Tough shit asshole.  Let’s take a look at some figures courtesy of “If Americans Knew“. The totals are from September 29, 2000 through the end of August of this year.

This chart shows that when it comes to children, 12 times more Palestinian children have been killed. 1,452 Palestinian children have been killed by the (illegimate) state of Israel – the Jewish state.
Israel has killed 408 Palestinians through direct targeting. Only 238 of those were the actual targets. The Palestinians have killed exactly one Jew that way.
So who is this Arsen Ostrovsky who says that “my country” meaning “his country” is under attack?
He’s an Australian Jew who moved to Israel during the summer of 2012. Yup Israel is his country. It’s not Hesham Tillawi’s country – Hesham was actually born there. It’s the country of this Australian Jew who also worked as an Israel advocate in New York and is the product of one of the many Jewish radicalization programs running in American (and elsewhere) called MASA (founded by Ariel Sharon previously covered here on Mantiq al-Tayr.)
In fact, he is the product of a considerable history of being radicalized by Jewish Zionist outifts:
“Before making this decision [to move to Israel], I worked as an attorney in Sydney, and for the past year, have been working in New York – focusing on Israel advocacy. In between, I also had the privilege – courtesy of the Jewish Agency and Masa Israel – to work in the Knesset. And throughout, I have, for as long I remember, been involved in just about every Jewish and pro-Israel organization.”
Oh, and this Australian Jew is also a “human rights lawyer”. What a bunch of Zionist Bullshit.
Fifth column? Consider this quote:
“Australia is not Israel. Israel is home.”
The emphasis in italics is his, not mine, nor is it from the frequent imaginary guest editor of Mantiq al-Tayr,  Haifa Wehbe.
Just to make sure you all get the point, a point even a Shas party member could understand, he also writes the following:
“I sometimes ask myself where my Zionism and attachment to Israel stem from. What draws me to this land and these people? The answer, though, is simple: Although I come from Australia, I consider myself first and foremost a Jew and a Zionist, and as such, this land and these people are also my land and my people.”
So if you want to ” talk about Israeli policy in the context of Jewish history and Jewish identity, and do so in a highly critical manner” you may do so here.
3. It was either a choice of a video about how cats ought to all be made Shas Party members on the one hand or a belly dance video on the other. My many contacts in the PFLP (Popular Front for the Liberation of Pussycats) opted for the latter, sot that’s what I’m going with. Oh, and that’s my story and I’m sticking to it.
This woman is really good. Really good. Makes me think we need a new Mantiqiyyan invention, but I digress.
