Americans are shown on MSM that Israel is a quaint, peaceful, kind nation of good souls that are under constant attack by every last neighbor and who use constant restraint, when in reality, Israel is a nation on stolen land, that murders and tortures Palestinians, kidnapes, steals, and pillages. I hear posters routinely castigating a reporter for failing to touch the 9eleven event, but once they try to put space between the propaganda and the truth, they find themselves unemployed and treated like Charlie Sheen or Helen Thomas.
When a reported tries to get relevant news printed they lose their access to air their views on tv talk shows.
Of those Americans who love ‘israel’ unconditionally, usually they form a bond from reading holocaust stories and movies of the same ilk.
A friend of mine, his mom worked for wealthy Jews. They helped put him through university, introduced him to a philanthropist. His family worshiped at Amez – African Methodist-Episcopal Zionists. He asked me once when i was going on about the rogue entity what a zionist was.
So besides the brainwashing we were all exposed to, he thought his grandparents were zionists because of the name of their church. He listens occasionally, but b/c of his personal experience, he refuses to confront the truth.
On a related note, the MSM has a self-defeating process. Big name “journalists”, such as Katie Couric and Matt Lauer are paid enormous salaries in large part because they have access to the world’s most important leaders, such as the U.S. president, vice president, heads of state, leading senators and congressmen and congresswomen. If these big name media celebrities were to ask difficult questions, such as why Israel continues to be armed by the Unites States even though they are using those armaments for aggression and not self-defense, which is illegal, or why Israel continues to be supplied with weapons despite the IDF’s use of white phosphorus against Palestinians, or about indefinite detention of Palestinians without charge, or if AIPAC has influenced their vote on any matter regarding the middle-east, those “reporters” would quickly receive a call disinviting them from any future contact with those politicians, and they would fall from their celebrity and lose their crazy large salaries.
It’s a no-win situation and I don’t see it getting any better.
